Chapter 1-The escape

As the Gorm attacked the Steamwater Warren, Padkin,Palfco and Proot were watching their father about to be crushed. Suddenly, someone grabbed them and dragged them by their dewlap,it was their Aunt Owl .”Why did you bring us here my father is out there!?”angrily questioned Padkin.The children took a glimpse of the chaos outside and decided they were going to stay put for the time being,while Aunt Owl was searching for something the kids were wondering what they were going to do if they ever got out.A few moments later,Aunt Owl gave something, wrapped in tattered cloth, to Padkin.

Once she handed it over she mumbled so the Gorm wouldn’t hear ”move that cupboard over there.”There was a long wavy tunnel ahead of them.They looked at their Aunt Owl and said “I’m not going in there I want to stay.”  ”You’re going in there whether you like it or not.”

The ancient,enclosed tunnel that was made of complete soil was at least two thousand yards long.With no lighting they found themselves lost.They walked for what felt like forever well not Proot he was carried in Palfco’s tunic.Padkins stomach started to rumble.

After some time Palfco spotted a piece of parchment paper that she picked up;it was a map. Palfco started following the map as she was the only one that could actually read it.Eventually,they had about half a mile until they were out of the tiny tunnel.When they decided to sleep for a bit,as they lead down they heard loud aggressive footsteps booming across the rock hard soil.

Chapter 2- Enderwater

The footsteps grew louder and louder .Palfco and Proot were paralysed in fear and shock.”Sister I think we need to move and quickly” mumbled Padkin trying not to get the Gorm’s attention. 

After a minute or two, they finally ran out of the tunnel;happy for their lives!Padkin opened the now warm cloth after sitting in Padkins pocket for a while(it was an axe).There was a letter ,it read:Hi darlings it is I, your mother if you are reading this right now that means you’ve escaped the Gorm attack look on the other side -it was a map-It lead them to Enderwater warren.

After, Palfco put the map back in Padkins pocket.The children set off on the journey to the safest warren ever or so they thought.Along the way they spotted many animals such as;deer,crows,worms and even squirrels. Palfco was certain that they were 30 minutes away from the warren.Some time later,the children all arrived at the Enderwater warren door.Padkin went to knock on the door but as soon as he was going to knock on it. It swung open…

“Who are you” shouted the guard in a deep voice.Chief lopkins children sir mumbled Pad. Come on in, the guard exclaimed.The three tots were sent to a room and they were given roasted parsnips.”Neeps neeps” whimpered the starving Proot. After they all ate the parsnips, Pakin felt dizzy and suddenly fell on the floor…

Chapter 3-Are they safe

Palfco finally woke up the unconscious Padkin.”where am I?”Questioned Pad tiredly.”Enderwater…”then suddenly he remembered everything.The tots looked out the window and saw the familiar seven foot tall Gorm guards speaking to the deep voiced guard they met when they first entered the warren.

Padkin knew all of the exits so he led them to the most secret exit there is in the entire rabbit world.After a few minutes,They arrived at the glorious but wooden door to leave(they actually spent hours finding it and Pad had no idea where he was going).

Pad fell over when he was leaving he tried to get up until he realised his ear was trapped!Within a moment, he was screaming and shouting because the pain felt like a cobra’s bite. Palfco said ”I’m sorry but close your eyes.”Then she chopped his ear off!”Ahh” pad screamed at the top of his lungs without realising he would get the Gorm’s attention.

Soon after, Palfco remembered you could heal wounds slowly with cobwebs.She carried Pad slowly to the nearest tree to them.He was trying to communicate but he couldn’t bring himself to speak. Until he lifted his head and pointed at something…

Chapter 4-Home sweet home

“What are we doing here? My skin is boiling and my eyes are hurting really bad,”said Padkin, who was the only one actually awake,.”Why is there fire and molten rock everywhere in sight!”Screamed the now awoken Palfco as Proot started crying.There were burning steel bars surrounding them melting their furry skin.

He was there the Gorm leader(Murderhound known for killing the most rabbits and destroying most warrens ever)Suddenly, he scooped them up by their dewlaps with his humongous hands and fingers.He brought his hand up and punched them in the face and one by one they fell unconscious. 

Padkin remembers his axe and slices through the metal bars feeling like his strong father.He was to busy looking proud and strong to notice a hellhound was growling at Proot.Just as it was about to eat Proot alive Pad jumped in the way and chopped the hellhounds ear off saving Proot and possibly even Palfco.

Padkin stands tall and proud until a weird screeching noise filled the what looked like hell(underworld).The sound was like a nuke exploding at their very big ears.It sounded like a cargo plane at the max speed.The noise grew louder and louder by the second.After some time had passed, the noise was hurting their ears… 

A helicopter came into their sight and after a few seconds the helicopter was nearly at their feet,Padkin saw who was in the helicopter and started to cry of joy. Pasco and Proot were pestering Pad asking who it was. Pad finally brought himself together and revealed it was Mum and dad.It was excellent they flew back to their now safe home (Steamwater Warren)
