Nature and animals

It doesn’t have to be the blue

frosty wings of the brimstone butterfly.

Or the violet vicious petals of a

Butterwort plant in rivington pike.

Or the mint green wings of

Chalkhill blue butterfly flying in moses gate country park

It could be the royal green ivy of

the trees that look like skyscrapers.

Or a spiky vine that looks like a cobra snake.

Or even an earthworm wiggling in the dirty mud.

Be as satisfied as a pitcher plant

as it attracts its prey in its dissolving water.

Notice how the plants feel as it

gets hit by the first ray of light

Even an animal awakes when

summer time comes.
