Natures Request
It doesn’t have to be
The ruby red wings of the Peacock butterfly
Or the bright purple petals of Honesty
Or the
The frosty white wings of Chalkhill Blue flying through Winter Hill
It could be a lonely magpie bird watching over at the excited children as they play on the enormous school field
Or a deep rabbit hole covered with crunchy, dry leaves
Or even an earthworm wiggle around through the wet, slippery grass.
Be as satisfied as the leaves
When the cold refreshing rain falls from the sky
Notice how amazing
The world is when you take a moment to stop and look properly
Even a dead flower opens back up in the summer.
