The dragon of diamonds

The dragon froze as still as stone

Its beady eyes stared into my soul

Its scaly tail curled

Its scales glistened in the moonlight

Its stiff jaw cracked open like a pack of crisps

Its pearl like teeth clacked open

Its claws grasped a handful of diamonds

Its holey wings stretched open

  1. I really like this poem as it rhymes through the entire thing I would look at different words for “it” but I really, really like this poem – Kate SJF, Widnes

  2. I really love this , it is amazing but you need different words for the dragon or Its because it makes it boring and it doesn’t flow , and to make it flow you need the rhythm! – Acacia SJF Widnes.
