Chapter 3

The room fell silent. Five minutes later, Tye jumped up and said I have an idea! He said we should go and find the home of the creature. I could not believe he actually said we should find it. I agreed, so we set off out into the cold dark night. A cold breeze of air tapped along my shoulder as we walked into the deep, misty forest. Suddenly, we heard howling and a loud splash. Immediately, we found ourselves stuck with rising water. Apparently, Tye knows a bit about the creature and he says it has teleportation powers. I was kind of surprised by this because nobody has ever talked or knew about this creature. Then we heard footsteps behind us. I got worried after I found out the water was rising. After Tye eventually calmed me down I realised the ditchmander was standing right behind me … AHHHHHH!
