I want to paint…
I want to paint…
I want to paint –
a beam of sunlight seeping through the cracks of the window sill;
a waterfall full of waves falling into an unknown territory;
a scarlet starfish stuck to the bottom of the vast ocean;
and sweet silly birds singing unknown songs;
I want to paint –
the fluffy clouds blowing away like leaves being blown by a leaf-blower;
a pride of peacocks patterned feathers like a portal that never ends;
a pencil that is perfectly pointed like a shark’s tooth ready to rip through its prey;
and a bunch of orchids blowing in the direction of the wind like they are dancing in the moonlight.
I want to paint
the sound of a birds humming songs as they fly past;
the taste of a refreshing bowl full of fruit;
the smell of fresh air blowing into the vast forest;
the impossibility of gravity and anti gravity clashing together;
and the distance between myself and the high mountains leaning towards me.
Such a beautiful poem, with so much descriptive language. I didn’t want it to end! Amazing.
