The sun had hardly begun to breathe life into the woods, Parker awoke with a start. Something was scratching at the front of the shelter. It was something that Parker was not sure of. She was scared, she did not know what to do. The other rabbits woke up and they did not know what was happening. It was a squirrel named Jay and he came to say that the Gorm were coming so they had to go fast.

As they trudged along to the Ice Cold Mountains, the forest was silent. They were scared by what Jay had told them. There had been a storm during the night. The rain had poured down but at least it was sunny now, however it was still very slippery. The grass was covered with mud and now their feet were covered too. The weather was hot so the mud would dry fast. 

Several hours later, the trio found themselves heading towards Ice Lake. Parker held onto Percy and exclaimed, “Look, the Gorm are at the Ice Cold Mountains.” Pasco and Percy had seen this too,  just the second Parker finished her sentence. The three rabbits saw around them the Gorm and the troops on their left. On their right was a fish pond. They slowly crawled so the Gorm did not see them. There was a lot of ice on the lake. It would take them about a while to get to the Daycare. It would take them a long time because they have to walk around the Gorm and then swim. At least the Gorm wouldn’t catch them because swimming makes their armour go really rusty.

Parker, Pasco and Percy sat down on the wet floor and Parker gave a sigh. There was one other rabbit behind them that came to say hello.  “I guess you’re going to the Daycare too?” asked the rabbit. “Yes we are.” Parker answered back, “Do you want to help us?”

“Yes I do,” replied the other rabbit.

There was no more talk around them, they had to walk sneakily by crouching.The Gorm were surrounding the Oak woods. They had to be very careful, they knew what to do but there were some of the Gorm’s team at the Ice Cold Mountains so they had to be careful, very careful. A couple of minutes later, they were at the top of Ice Lake. They had to be cautious because the Gorm were coming to Ice Lake; they had to go to the top of Ice Cold Mountains. There would also be some Gorm guards there too. All of a sudden, Percy accidentally stood on a nail and shouted ‘OOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!’and they knew that they were now in trouble. 

‘RRRRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNN’ shouted Pasco they ran like a force cheetah and that Percy couldn’t run but at least when Percy was on Parkers shoulders Parker ran the same pace. At least they had time to catch a breath and to hide on one of the mountains.
