How to look after a baby Phoenix
First, make sure when handling your baby Phoenix you are wearing gloves so you do not get burnt by it’s flames.

Next, keep your Phoenix in an inclosed space where it cannot burn your belongings, for bedding, consider mineral wool.

During the day, make sure your Phoenix is kept well hydrated to prevent overheating, in case of this, simply coat your Phoenix in ice cold water until the flames die down.

Before bed, it is encouraged to close all windows and doors in your house to prevent your Phoenix getting too cold, as this can make them very ill.

If you want to take your Phoenix for a walk, a non flammable material is required for a lead, never let your phoenix run free because they have a tendency to burn down trees.

For a very well behaved phoenix, try brushing its feathers twice a day as they like to be well groomed. This will also make it more used to you as you are in such close contact to it.
