Chapter 1

Gorm invasion

As Ret, Root and Rue sat and watched as the Gorm started their attack. Suddenly, They were graded from the darkness as they screamed in terror… Luckily it was anty trat. She dragged them to their mothers and fathers bedroom. Ret asked “why are we locked up in our parent’s bedroom?” There was no reply. The children stood and stared at the door as they heard the screech of iron on iron and screams of terror and fear. Then their aunt gave them something in linen cloth and then their aunt said “take this, we are here because there is a secret escape.” Suddenly a tunnel appeared in the ground and they were taken down into the tunnel. It was dark,damp and gloomy and they would have to go in it.

Aunty trat tries to get the protesting children in the gaping hole in the ground. Ret and Root squabble about how they are older and they can fight themselves and they can help and then Rue started wailing for his mum and dad. There was screeching and scraping sounds of the gorm coming upstairs. Their anty’s muscles tensed and they fell in the huge hole in the ground. The hole was as dark as midnight but in the distance there was low torch light.They darted  to the light  but the torch was stuck in the wall they tugged and tugged  and a secret tunnel opened and there was supplies  and a letter with writing that Ret couldn’t recognise  root took it and started to read 

It read:

You will find this if are worst nightmares are happen, take the  supplies and run fast and run far.

They started walking it was silent, deadly silent all Ret could think about is the letter from his mum and what would happen to his dad. Root could think about is were to go and the gorm. Rue ( who didn’t have a clue what was going on) was crying and being scared of the dark. Finally Ret asked “why would they hide this?” “I don’t know” replied Root “We are definitely lost!” yelled Root in rage. they found an opening after many hours. They were exhausted. Ret finally unraveled the linen cloth. There was a small copper axe that was dented, clawed and chipped. 

They went out for supplies. They got sticks, lots of sticks. As Root went for more and found a twisted, jagged tree that looked like it was made of iron. They layered mud on sticks that covered the hole and made moss beds. Root was worried about the tree. She told no one.

Chapter 2

Winterhold

The three little rabbits woke up. They rolled up the moss beds in case it was needed again. Both of them pulled off the mud covered stick door and looked out. “ It worked!” shreced Root “good job.” complemented Ret. then it appeared, the same twisted jagged tree made of iron. Ret and Root went back to the tunnel to get supplies. The children went back. The tree moved! Ret went over and got the axe. He hit it especially hard to see if it was iron. It was.

The children left the tunnel and after that Root saw the twisted, iron trees. Root was definite that they were following them, somehow. They were miles away from camp and then Ret stood in a pile of boiling oil. Ret was about to yelp out in pain when the noise of the gorm split through the silence. They ran to a tree and hid. The gorm came then the gorm left. It was fast. Then they found it, the kids found thorney meadows and it was guaranteed to be thorney meadow because the only thing that grew there was beautiful roses. Now they know they were close to winterhold. They walked till they found the ironprests tomb. The ironpreast was a person who worshiped the iron gods. They headed north to winterhold’s hallows, the snowiest place in all the five realms.

The children got to winterhold in the end. There was a small feast that was very strange because Winterhold loves bramble mas eve. Winterhold always has a massive feast. Chef Holly is a merry man but he was not as merry as normal. They stayed only because there was a fire inside and a blizzard outside. Suddenly there was a loud clang of iron in the forge. The soldiers all looked at Ret, Root and Rue.

Chapter 3

Ret’s one ear

After the iron clang the soldier got their swords ready to attack. Ret slowly packed their things when Root gave Rue some more radish soup. Without warning, Ret graded Root and got up. They recognised the iron clank of the soldiers’ swords. They saw an exit and went for it.

Ret still holding Root, he ran and so did Root. The soldiers started ro dashed after them. They ran and ran through all the twisted tunnels. The children were almost there. The Opening. Suddenly, the portcullis started to close. Ret and Root doubled their speed and slid under the rapidly closing portcullis.

Outside Ret was thanking the goddess that he was still alive but inside a guard waited to strike the band of rabbits with his sword. Root saw the glint of the sword. Root graded Rue and fell to the ground. In the blink of an eye, Rets’ ear was cleaved off. Ret lay there in a dase and Root gathered leaves to make a bandage. The bandage worked, it kept the blood in and protected the wound.

They hear the gorm from the warren and started to sprint through the forest to try and hide from the gorm. Ret found a tree coming out of the ground and the kids tried to hide in between the roots. Out of the blue, five gorm riders and their rat monsters appeared. Seconds later, The gorm graded them and took them to Bloodblade, the evilest, biggest, fearest gorm of them all. Bloodblade had lots of muscles, the thickest iron shell and his mask was covered in scratches. 

They were taken deep inside the core of a volcano and it had more gorm than ever before, all with an iron sword, axe or great hammer that they were sharpening. They were ready for war.

Chapter 4

The end of the gorm

When they were put in their cell they were hung over a pool of lava. There were over cells but they were in the wall. The bars were strong and studied but looked a thousand years old. The chain was old and rusted and made creasing noises. It was like they were being cooked because they were somewhere they couldn’t escape and the lava was boiling them. Ret wasn’t at his full strength and was bruised all over.

Ret sat There puzzled and then Root suggested that they could hit the rusty lock on the door to break it open. Ret battered the lock but it didn’t even crack. All that happened was they were hit with an iron pole. They thought escape was impossible until the volcano shook like it was about to erupt.

Root yelled “it’s going to erupt!” Rue cried “hot,hot”. Ret just said “what’s that?” wings and a head appeared from the lava. It looked familiar to Ret for once because he studded magical creatures. “Look Root” Ret called “a magma dragon!”. He know because a magma dragon has small wings, a big body, a massive club and its mouth is full of teeth. The gorm readied their swords and the magma dragon attacked. 

The magma dragons spued lava and spat explosive balls of magma that incinerated the gorm’s amour. The gorm were definitely going to lose. One of the dragons came over and it could speak! It broke the bars with its teeth and let them fly it to safety. All the other prisoners were saved and then they used their massive clubs to make the volcano erupt. All the gorm were in the volcano and got burntThey came out of the volcano and the dragons were more then happy to be their friends and would come home with them. They rode the dragon to their old home (waterun). They had fun with the dragons.

A week later a glint came from the volcano. A metal. A shadow. A creature.
