Chapter 1-The escape

As the Gorm attacked the Steamwater Warren,Padkin,Palfco and Proot were watching their father about to be crushed.Suddenly, someone grabbed them and dragged them by their dewlap,it was their Aunt Owl .”Why did you bring us here my father is out there!?”angrily questioned Padkin. The children took a glimpse of the chaos outside and decided they were going to stay put for the time being,while Aunt Owl was searching for something the kids were wondering what they were going to do if they ever got out.A few moments later,Aunt Owl gave something wrapped in tattered cloth to Padkin.

Once she handed it over she mumbled so the Gorm wouldn’t hear”move that cupboard over there.”There was a long wavy tunnel ahead of them.They looked at their Aunt Owl and said i’m not going in there I want to stay.Your going in their whether you like it or not.

The ancient,enclosed tunnel that was made of complete soil was at least two thousand yards long.With no lighting they found themselves lost.They walked for what felt like forever well not Proot he was carried in Palfcos tunic Padkins stomach started to rumble.

After some time Palfco spotted a piece of parchment paper that she picked up;it was a map. Palfco started following the map as she was the only one that could actually read it.Eventually,they had about half a mile until they were out of the tiny tunnel.When they decided to sleep for a bit,as they lead down they heard loud aggressive footsteps booming across the rock hard soil.
