If I were summoned by a treasure
If I were summoned to create a treasure…
If I were summoned
To create a treasure,
I would take:
The ear of a
Soon-to-be-extinct bat,
The yodel of an
abominable yeti,
And the pupil of a duck
Peacefully swimming in murky
water.
The sight of
The last shooting star zooming
through the night,
The slow melt of an ice cube
Placed on a table,
And the careful dribbling
Of paint on a canvas.
The smell of
Fresh mint waiting patiently
On a bush,
The scent as you open a
New bleach bottle,
And the whiff of you
Flicking through pages
Of a thick,new book.
The glimmer on a window
From the Leaning Tower of Pisa,
The brittle cracks on dry sand
From a contagious drought,
And a star from a
Meteor shower.
A wing from a pegasus
From Greek mythology,
The tough bricks from
Hadrien’s Wall,
And the bright lights from the
Famous Eiffel Tower.
An unexpected Genie from a
delicate,golden lamp
An opal from an
Underwater seashell,
And the neon skin of a moon jellyfish.
