One morning Alfie looked outside and saw everything was gloomy. He was trying to figure out what he needed to do today. At one moment, he realised he had something to do outside so Alfie packed up warm.

As he headed out, he ran into an impolite soldier and apologised “Oh sorry sir I didn’t mean to.” When he started walking away the soldier pulled his jacket and said “What are you doing here little boy you shouldn’t be out in the gloom without any supervision?” with a smirk on his face.

Alfie was terrified and sprinted off to his location and thought to himself “ What did he want from me? Did I do something wrong? Is it because I accidentally ran into him in the first place?” Alfie was very worried and didn’t know what to do.

He continued to walk but bumped into another guy and said “Oh I’m so sorry sir I do apologise I promised I will not do that again.” The man replied mischievously, “Oh little boy, where did your parents go? Do you want to come with me and I will totally help you with finding your parents.” Alfie knew something was wrong and ran as fast as he could to the opposite direction and found a door near a pile of rubbish and hid.
