Sally took the creatures advice and stared to search for a hiding spot.”If you can’t tell me what you are can you at least tell me who you are?”Sally asked curiously.

“That is acceptable.”the creature replied,”My name is Serpion”

“That an interesting name!” Sally exclaimed.”Not trying to be rude.”

At that very moment,everything fell silent;The door opened;Sally felt queasy;Serpion started to slowly back up;They heard very quiet footsteps;Someone had entered.

“Who is that?”Sally whispered.

“They surely are an intruder searching for something.”Serpion sighed as her eyes widened.

All of a sudden, and eerie  silence fell upon the room. No sounds were. Serpion came to a realisation, the unknown figure was searching for a specific person. Not for a shelter. Not for a home …for them.

Both Sally and Serpion kept hidden and quiet.The unknown figure was looking, a gloomy shadow searching.Serpion and Sally were both starving and couldn’t bare an out her minute without food so they slowly started to search for food and Sally almost made a sound but then she found an old and dry asparagus. Sally was so hungry she didn’t care that it was old and dry she found food. She was so hungry nothing stopped her from munching on it.

Even though Sally was filling her tummy Serpion couldn’t find anything. Her heart was pounding; she got goosebumps They were trapped. When Serpion (Not Sally because all she could think about was food)thought all hope was lost finally she heard a click on the door. The intruder had left.

“Sally the intruders gone!”Serpion sighed in relief. Sally was too hungry to notice.

Sally finally finished eating and realised what had happened. “We must get to the gateway.”Sally announced.She understood how important the gateway was so she had to make sure Serpion arrives.There was only one problem as Serpion searched for food she got hit and now she has a giant wound. “Are you ok?”Sally asked in a not so confident way.Serpion nodded but made no sound. They slowly walked to the door, there journey was about to begin.They had to locate the gateway.

They slowly made there way out to the gloomy alleyway. Stars were scattered all over the sky. Abandoned buildings and dirty roads were covering the filthy place. There was nowhere to call home.

They avoided all nearby checkpoints and made sure no guards were watching them. They had make sure they were unstoppable so no one could catch onto them. Multiple streets had been passed and they were near there destination, there was only two main questions.

Would they make it? Would they get to the gateway?
