If you stumble upon an adorable yet suspicious animal, you could have met an alien. If you discover a weirdly shaped object around your house and are directly in front of an extra-terrestrial, these steps will help you form a safe and friendly correlation with your new pal! ( Luckily, no special gear is needed for this.)

What to look out for 

All aliens look similar, the closest to our beloved planet earth looks like: They have passerine-style beak that is used to pluck foreign plankton from the ocean; a small thing that is connected to its tail that may or may not want to conquer our world; a lonely antenna sticking out of the extra-terrestrial’s forehead and finally make tiger like noises that sound like ‘ I want home’. 

Now, there are many different ways to greet someone, or something, but I wouldn’t use stuff like hand shakes, high fives, or waving at it because the alien doesn’t understand the gestures. Instead, i would use:

• Howdy fella!
• Hey, my name is Greg.
• Why have you come to our world?
• Your feathered mane is groomed to perfection – did you go to your local hairdressers?

If your small alien friend starts showing signs of being scared or nervous, try to calm down your bestie by…

1. Give it a name! No alien wants to be called ‘ it’ or ‘ thing’ all the time.
2. Let Billy explore. Aliens love exploring! Afterall, it is what Billy was doing before coming here.
3. Let Coco play with Billy! Everyone needs someone to show them around and comfort a new friend.

Without following these rules, Billy would run away and potentially harass some locals. He would be a nuisance to most people ; would probably be taken away by Animal Control.

How to tell if you have been abducted

Have you woken up in the morning and couldn’t remember what you had for dinner the night before? Have you discovered a mysterious lump growing from your side that continuously grows larger every day? Do you get ‘ brain attacks’ and have been hearing indecipherable voices in your mind? Then you probably, most likely, have been abducted by an otherworldly being. Sadly, all effects are permanent.
