Have you ever had  family day trips on a sky ship?In summer, you would have flown over the beach soaring high above the waves and across the warm seas.When you flew,there would have of been blue skies ,a soft breeze and that wonderful sense of of fish and chips.When you flew,there would of been the island below,fishing boats with there brightly coloured sails and even a school of dolphins.You probably got taken to one of the nearby islands and landed the ship so you could have a picnic.Travelling by skyship in the summer is like that.

But travelling on an expedition to unknown lands is another matter.You should try a skyship journey when the  hailstones smash windows,the thunder roars at you and the sky is broken apart by jagged lightning.You should try being there when sky orgas atack,scrambelling across the hull ready to dig there poisonous claws into your skin or worse tear the skyships inflatable apart. You should try being there when the food runs out and there is not even a drop of water in the barrels.Few people would wish that on anyone.Even experienced flyers think twice about travelling east over the distant lands.No one knows what creatures might live there.Rumor has it that there are giant goblins,stone giants and cave- dragons.Few would wish to encounter with a forest troll…and most say,that the rumores are for a good reason.

Chapter 1

The crowds cheered as the sky ship,Aurora, rose up into the air and 

hovered for a moment as the great engine roared into life.Captain Copperpot stood at the steering wheel.His face determined and filled with excitement.They were off!

Tom and Lucy gazed down as the sky ship Aurora rose into the clouds watching the crowd slowly turn into little ants.The Aurora sailed over many cities seeing many wonderful things :big lakes which are now little ponds and trees that now look like broccoli.

Tom and Lucy could feel the breeze rush through their hair.They could still hear and see the crowds cheer and wave good luck.Tom and and lucy both looked at each other they both smiled on the outside but on the inside they were worried and scared.

“Tom, do you think we will find Captain Nemo”?she said in hope.”We will have to see.”He also said in hope.Tom saw boats with big colourful sails that appeared to look like a big rainbow.

 The sky ship seems to be running out of coal and the propeller starts to spark but captain Copperpot see a island up ahead with houses and ancient castles and strange creatures.
