Chapter 3

Suddenly the rustling beyond the bushes stopped alongside James and soon a pair of ruby red crimson eyes glared at James as if it were giving him a death stare and it was until the creature had blinked its spherical eyes he had been startled. Stumbling to the smooth, chalky, grainy sand on his back, he quickly scuttled away from the cadmium vine-like overgrown shrubbery and eventually got back up on his feet.

The rustling soon resumed with a heavy grunting noise, and soon two bricky cube shaped arms and legs with a lava like liquid running down the cracks emitted from the greenery. Soon the creature had fully emitted and the entity’s body was fully exposed and seemed to be a Magma Golem.

“Greetings fellow humans… don’t be worried I shall reassure and guarantee you that of which am not hostile or harmful in any shape or form.”It had said in a gruff voice it soon thumped over to James and placed the phoenix gem in his hand and told him that it is his responsibility now. Everyone still gob smacked by the unfortunate turn of events Amelia immediately got jealous but proud of her brother.

“Th-th thank you?”James said in a nervous, shaky voice. It had occur to him to be careful on their journeys and other various people and/or other mythical-like creatures shall be after the gem and to keep it as safe as possible and keep it away from any greedy, needy evil looking eyes.

The Captain soon indicates to everyone to gather back up and get aboard the ship and get back to business.

“Before you leave I’d just like to say with great power comes with great responsibilities!” he yelled in a harsh voice which sounded like nails on a chalkboard.

Everyone soon repaired the broken parts of the skyship, and soon was soaring in the air through the sky. James and Amelia are waving down back at the Magma Golem staring down at the blizzard blue ocean sparkling like glitter and gold but soon their moment was soon interrupted by a rather loud

“Enemy spotted beyond eyesight!”Which was bellowed from whoever was in the crows nest. It was too late.
