The Thaddensars

Prologue

You’ve probably flown through some infuriated clouds throwing their rage down upon you. In summer you would have observed mini tornadoes floating slowly across the sea. When you flew, there would have been lots of depressed clouds, mini islands in ruins, giant weather changes and huge waves crashing into each other violently. You probably got taken to the mountains behind the hole of deadly doom. Not everywhere is safe so now you know that it is quite intense and crazy flying/being on a skyship is.

But travelling on a casual flight for a party needs to be in a safe zone wherever or whenever you’re flying. You should be there when you are exploring an island and need somewhere safe to land. Try to find somewhere flat so it doesn’t damage the skyship’s gears. You could also try being there when little beasts take over the skyship. You should try being there when there is a mini meteor storm and some damage the skyships’s parts. Few people would ever want to experience these events.

Chapter 1

The watchers for the newly built Thaddensars were extremely shocked as the new and improved version of The Thaddensars had been shown to the public for the first time, and was shown before anyone anticipated it would. As the elite crew were leaving, all the crowds below them cheered in glory, Captain Fibzettence waved down at the huge wave of people.

There were lots of different people on the skyship Thaddensars, such as: Abraham (the chef); Edison (the other chef); Jeremiah (the observer); Christopher (you guessed it the other observer); and a lot more members. But there are two people on the skyship who are a lot younger than all the others which are Barnaby and Claire. What you can see from the skyship is not just a beautiful view of the clouds but the mysterious world  with all of the islands everywhere with ant-like people in the distant and giant islands such as Anbono. The two were shocked at this sight. With the faint sound of wind blowing gently along the skyship and into the ears of Barnaby and Claire, smiles smoothly spreaded across their faces.

Smiling the two observed out the gleaming window and chatted to each other, Meanwhile Captain Fibzettence was casually turning the ship whilst doing so she thought about how excited she was as it was her third time captaining a skyship and this was her first brand new ship she was captaining. She burst into happiness as she had changed where the ship was going for the first time without help or support.

As an hour swiftly past, The Thaddensars reached high across the town of Anbono – and was starting to head across the sea – the skyship started accelerating slowly, while it was the two young members of the ship observed from a window (in one of The Thaddensars rooms) and observed the gorgeous view from this high in the sky. Claire stated “Woah what a wonderful view…”

“It is spectacular and so exquisite, li- like a dream, but it has happened again” interrupted Barnaby.

The next day, the weather was quite angry (as it was raining and thundering) all around The Thaddensars. The captain was in her room staring outside of her window while everyone else except Barnaby and Claire were in the kitchen talking and arguing about why it is raining so hard and what would happen if the ship got hit by a lightning bolt. The two kids were in their own room playing cards together. As the whole crew were unsuspecting anything to happen the weather frantically changed to an icy winter weather as they were entering near Dclo lpcea. 

Chapter 2

During the next few days, The Thaddensars was slowly freezing as it flew closer to the bottom of Skyland Falls. A glacier had formed over the fiery water from above and a mythical tree stretching up into what seemed to be space. A weird silhouette was visible through the blizzard, it looked as if it was heading towards Skyland Falls.

The two younger members had just seen the other what seemed to be a skyship floating in the distance, and Claire said, “Woah look another skyship, come on Barnaby let’s tell Captain Fibzettence.”

“Ok then, let’s go,” replied Barnaby in his really quick voice. As they made it to the captain, before the tow could even say anything she said (the captain), “No, just look at it.”

The other skyship had crashed on the nearest island.

They saw that skyship land in pieces on the cold terrain. Suddenly, the rest of the crew came to the deck, where the three were standing and chatting/talking. It was really an awkward moment, which made Captain Fibzettence curious so she asked, ”Why are you all here on such short notice?”

The whole crew replied in sync, “Please can we go explore the ruins of that skyship over at Skyland Falls please.”

The Thaddensars slowly and gracefully landed on one of the many islands of skyland falls. The surface was smooth and fluffy like a cloud (except the fact that it was a cloud). The crew nervously set foot onto the cloud, little did they know, it was a reinforced cloud which can handle nearly anything. But it was quite a misty/foggy place so visibility in seeing was hard.

Eventually they made it to the ruined ship and Barnaby and Claire were there as well even though they were told to stay at the skyship just in case anything got quite grim. “Why are you here?!” said Captain Fibzettence in shock. The captain next noticed everyone looking at some ancient ruins, so they built a little hut to stay and hide in for the night.

During that night everyone woke up at once because there was a mysterious frog in the ruins that they were in and when everyone looked up there were weird creatures everywhere across the clouds. It looked like the weird frog wanted them to follow him, so they did and the frog led them somewhere and jumped with the other weird creatures through this mysterious portal, so the crew went through one by one curious for what lies on the other side.

Chapter 3

As the light from the sun revealed the forgotten lands, they noticed something straight away: some strangely familiar crops but a lot bigger; giant versions of the creatures from before, stomping across the land making huge thumps with each step; and the fact that it was a lot warmer than the previous island. As it was warmer it made Captain Fibzettence say “Wow, it is actually habitable here.”

The crew nodded in agreement and gathered different resources from around the place.

The crew suddenly noticed a lot more giant creatures approaching their location. All the crew was now complete with their tasks and all had met back with Captain Fibzettence, unknowing a few extra pairs of feet had followed them. Then Claire pointed out some smaller sized frogs were all staring and hopping towards something. Eventually, -after getting Captain Fibzettences’ attention- an old explorer reveals himself, and then Captain Fibzettence said “Wait… you are that explorer who has been missing for decades!”

“Yes I am,” said the explorer in an old accent.

The mysterious frog from earlier makes an appearance and hops onto the old mans’ shoulder and says something in a weird language, then the explorer translates saying, “Warning because you guys suddenly made an appearance it alerted all the creatures so the giant beast of this island is now after you lot, and won’t stop till they find you,”. They could hear a loud roar from a beast in the distance slowly getting closer so the captain shouts “Go! Go! GO!”

Everyone starts running back from where they came from. After running for a few minutes they got to the portal and jumped through.

The mysterious portal unfortunately did not take them to the island with the skyship on but instead it took them to the highest island instead. Barnaby, who has extremely quick reactions, quickly shouted “I see a calm river twirling down the islands, let’s quickly swim down before that weird beast thing catches up to us.”

“Yes quickly.” said Claire as they jumped into the water. Prepared, the beast hopped into the water and started to storm down the river, swiftly catching up to everyone. After ages of swimming and a lot of close calls they ran back to the skyship. Waterlogged, Captain Fibzettence stated whilst driving The Thaddensars “Boy am I wet.”
