Chapter 3
In the middle of the night, Michael was sobbing in the corner of the room saying this is all my fault whilst Sam was walking back and forward in a hurry to find an escape.
They tried everything by putting a help sign on the window but nobody looked at it and then they started screaming at the top of their lungs but the road was too far away. He tried to wriggle through the window but it was far too small to fit through.
Sam got mad at Michael because he wasn’t finding an escape route but then Michael remembered that there was a hammer in one of the boxes and he could knock the door down. So they started rushing and Sam started getting happy.
Angrily, Sam shouted, “Why won’t you just help? You’re so lazy, just do something.”
Michael said, “What is the point? We are never going to get out of this horrible place. I am sick of your aunt. She is so sneaky, we are stuck here forever,” said Michael softly.
Just as Michael was falling asleep, he heard a gentle knock. It was Leo through the tiny window. Michael reached out of the tiny window and gave him some winds and Michael gave him some winds. When Leo was fully charged, Michael woke Sam up. Leo nudged a key towards the boys, who took it without thinking and jammed it in the lock. Click. They were free.
Leo was ready like a pro athlete, running as fast as he could. Suddenly. Micheal and Sam heard a door creaking. They saw Micheal’s aunt snoring on the couch in front of the TV with popcorn all over her. They tiptoed and they got past her. The boys got out and they sprinted towards the bushes at the edge of the garden. They waited there until the sun rose.
