Poem for Pie – Coloured Masks

Esme’s poem for Pie

I wore the blue mask and saw

The serene, sapphire sea

A perfume filled blue hydrangea

And the dull, dusk sky full of darkening clouds

I wore the yellow mask and saw

The blazing sun dancing in the summer sky

The delicate dandelion swaying in the breeze

And the sweet smelling sunflower singing

I wore the mask of purple and saw

The beautiful milky way covering the sky

A perfect periwinkle flower in spring

And a flying purple butterfly

I wore the mask of red and saw

An amazing red cardinal flying above

A beautiful red rose patiently waiting

And a sweet strawberry plant full of life

I wore the mask of white and saw

A cute ,fluffy cloud soaring through the skies

A pair of doves sat on a white blossom tree

And a sweet mound of pure sugar

The Colourful Mask

                           Colourful masks

I wore the yellow  mask and saw

A big lemon floating in the air

           And mini lemons for rain.

I wore the green mask and saw

A green  dog with big  slime balls

Rolling down the hill at me.

I put on a sea mask and I saw

A big boat on the sea floor and

a lot of sea creatures and a scuba

        Diver.

I put a red mask on and I saw

A red tree and a big red bush

As I was eating red velvet cake!

coloured masks

I wore the blue mask and saw a pulverised blueberry, screeching,

A sharp, shiny needle penetrated a weak wrist vain, a lacklustre hammerhead shark.

I wore the orange mask and saw the Netherlands kit glowing through a hole in a

Squashed tangerine.

I wore the white mask and saw thick, musty cows milk, an immaculate whiteboard, slowly cracking, , and a waiting, blank page.

I wore the green mask and saw a fresh leaf, blowing, a plastic school chair and a goblins vomit and crusty seaweed.

The Mask

I wore the blue mask  and saw

The blue scissors cutting through the sky

As the sea caught a shark.

I wore the black mask and saw

An ebony S-works,

The matt black wheels

And the carbon handlebars.

I wore the white mask and saw

A herd of polar bears,

The cleanest whiteboard

And the clearest clouds.

I wore the pink mask and saw

The biggest pig,

The ripest raspberry

And a big slice of ham.

Mask of Nonsense!

I wore the blue mask and saw

The trench sinking in to the depths of the ocean,

A great iceberg flying in the contagious heavens

And a skyscraper scraping the sky.

I wore the yellow mask and saw

An amber piece of butter muttering to a golden banana,

The jolly astroid crying,

And meanwhile, going nowhere

A diver, darting into a pot of  blonde custard.t

I wore the freezing Arctic mask and I

Started to sink in the roaring fire

I wore the pink mask and saw

The candy floss salmon pink travelling

A single cherry, crying on a  lonely tree

And flamingoes flapping flamboyantly to the pink sun set .

Poem for Pie

Poem for pie

I put on the blue mask and saw

The sea glimmering in the sun,

A smurf running around like a mad man,

An Oxford dictionary teaching me new words

I put on the green mask and saw

Grass springing up,

Leaves falling from big heights,

And trees crashing in high wind speeds

I put on the red mask and saw

A field of poppies,

An opaque ruby,

A school handwriting pen

I put on the yellow mask and saw

A massive room full of lemons,

The broad funnels of the Titanic,

The sunshine so bright.

I Put On The Mask

I put on the mask…

I wore the blue mask and saw

Shattered sea glass glistening in the crystal clear sky.

I wore the the white mask and saw

Fluffy white marshmallows and

Soft candy floss

Floating around in the sky.

I wore the rainbow mask and saw

A variety of ombré sweets

And chocolate everywhere

In the galaxy.

I put on the green mask and saw

Vines flowing around

Beautiful butterflies and caterpillars

And growing flowers

In a pretty forest .

I wore the purple mask and saw a ripe plum,

A beautiful  butterfly

And a bundle of flowers

All around a tree.

Hayden’s Poem for Pie

                  Poems for Pie 🙂

I put on the  mask of yellow and saw

A juicy lemon on the side of the table.

I put on the mask of the white lords and saw a whiteboard on the wall about to be written on.

I put on the mask of rainbows and got to the end of the rainbow.

I put on the mask of blue and saw a massive blue boat that looked like the Titanic.

I put on the mask of red and saw a massive red fiery dragon.

I put on the mask of pink and saw a majestic pink flamingo doing a backflip.

Colour Poem Filled With Life

Colour Poem Filled with life

I wore the blue mask and saw

A beautiful, ripe blueberry,

the lap-less, shimmering sea,

and  the petals from a bluebell.

I wore the pink mask and saw

A majestic rose swaying in the breeze,

translucent glasses sitting on the desk,

and an impeccable sunrise.

I wore the green mask and saw

Beautiful stems of daffodils,

spring leaves blooming,

and lovely grass swishing from side to side.

I wore the red mask and saw

A wonderful raspberry hanging from a plant,

a fire extinguisher hooked on a wall,

and a handwriting pen sitting on the desk.

I wore the yellow mask and saw

A ripe banana lying on the table,

a sour lemon on my tongue,

and the bright sunshine in the vast sky.

The Mask of Stings

I would take the sight of the galaxy universe and forge it into a

flaming lightning bolt.

I would take the sound of a bee resting its head on a yellow autumn leaf.

I would take the the taste of a flaming hot pepper melting faces at the dining table.

I would take the touch of a hornet flying madly through the sky stinging, burning with every touch.

I would take the smell of an onion peeling eyes with every tear drop melting away.
