Rainbow vampire butterfly

The Rainbow Vampire Butterfly also known as RVB is an amazing insect that has just been discovered. It has outstanding abilities and it can change its shape. Would you recognize it or be confused of what this weird and abnormal creature is?

It is like most creatures and insects, it has six legs, wings and body. Most RVB’s have four wings allowing them to fly 24mph. However, some have been seen with eight wings hidden under there others. When they have eight wings they have something called extra fly-a-itis. They are usually the size of a chromebook. Amazingly, they can see 360 degrees like a hammerhead shark.

The RVB’s main body is blue and green so when it’s flying they are camouflaged with the sky and leaves (weirdly they can change shape.) This means they can fit in any space under closed and locked doors; closed drawers and cupboards- even boxes. This is very disturbing because they like to eat human flesh and drink blood. They also have venom so powerful it can melt the earth’s core. Rainbow vampire butterflies will attack at any time- so be careful…

Trapped-Chapter 4- Luna and the magic emporium

Ignoring the booming voice, Luna ran until she was froze. Where the door had gone was unknown. It could not grow  legs and run away. There was no door, instead she was met by a forest. It seemed as though the forest never ended. Huge pink and white trees surround her. Gumdrops plotted everywhere. Rivers made of chocolate and puddles made of bubblegum- flavored syrup. Wandering deeper into the forest she noticed a handle that was deep brown. It hung out; it was the only dark thing in sight.

Taking a deep breath, Luna trudged towards the handle. It was a tree and on the handle glistened a number lock which swung on the handle harshly. How would Luna find out the code combination? Desperately, she needed to find the code. There it was. A note in a puddle- she grabbed onto the note and it read :

                                Secret code

5081 are  the numbers to unlock the door.

Hands shaking Luna fiddled with the lock and at that moment the lock fell off, giving a sigh of relief. Carefully she opened the door and it felt like it took  a century.

At that moment she hit the smooth but solid wooden tiles that belonged to the Emporium. The door shut with a SLAM. The corridor had seemed to be shorter than when she came. Amazingly, the doors were different colors and moved. At that second, Luna realized the door had moved in the Emporium. How was she back?

Guilty, she crept  back towards the living room. Miss Clover glared at her. “Did you enjoy your experience?” she asked like she knew what had happened. Luna just nodded her head since she was unsure if it was cool or not after what happened. “The thing is you can explore wonders and have fun but you must be careful when entering. She gently placed the parrot in its cage. As the parrot mimicked Miss Clover Luna nodded her head at the mysterious owner.

Luna opened the grand wooden door and stepped out into the concrete pathway. She wanted to find out more but as she turned she heard the grand doors lock. She felt a gust of magic swirl around her like a ferocious hurricane. Friday she told herself.

She had not noticed Miss Clover’s parrot had followed her all the way home. It sat on a nearby branch and watched as she got cozy in her nice warm bed. As the night passed the parrot just stared taking in everything around and every detail.

‘’My name is Lilly Clover,’’ she said glaring at Luna until a shiver went down her spine, spitefully. ‘’This is my emporium. Do you like it?’’ Luna was too terrified to respond so she just nodded her head like  nothing happened . ‘’Here is my book of wishes, you are very free to look around just DON’T  touch the book!’’

A couple seconds later, Miss Clover had disappeared into the Emporium.  Luna was alone. Twisting around Luna opened the book of wishes. On each page was a new picture different in a way. They were villages made of clouds, sunken ships, mountains and valleys. There was much more.

The next thing Luna knew, there was a multi-coloured pencil in her hand. She was drawing a magical land made of sweets and chocolate. She was now drawing a house made of gingerbread covered in icing and  fruit pastels. She had drawn something  from her Imagination.

‘’Follow me,’’ called out the parrot. Luna slammed the book closed and without thinking she trailed behind the rainbow parrot. She twisted a golden knob and wandered off into her magical dream island. It was still, silent. Until the sound of a bird singing happily filled the air. A path appeared – it was made of caramel. Luna being  adventurous trailed down it. She did not look back. In front of her was the gingerbread house she had drawn.

Her heart beated faster as she realised it had everything she had drawn: a warm cosy living room with a pink couch and TV; a wooden fire burning gently and elegantly surrounded by rock candy: a not very big kitchen with yellow cups and fine china plates along with a very old cooker: a table meant for two that had food and drinks set. ‘’Hello’’ called Luna trying to figure out if anyone else was there. Instead she was met by the smell of fresh cotton candy.

A few minutes later, she heard a noise. A not very pleasant noise. She scrambled under the chocolate table . The kitchen door burst open and at that moment she saw it; a dark silhouette boomed towards her; ruby eyes glowing scanning the room in anger; piercing claws scraping on the floor. Luna moved backwards as the monster drew closer and closer.

Luna got onto her feet and ran as fast as the speed of light. She ran to where the monster had started but there was nothing left of the once standing door. Instead there was a hole in the wall. As quick as her legs could move, she ran towards the caramel path. It seemed as though it would never end. Behind her boomed a voice ‘’ GET BACK HERE,’’ not daring to look back. Luna just ran faster and faster!

Chapter 1 – Luna and the magical Emporium

Luna has always been adventurous and her father often warned her that it would lead to trouble. One sunny Sunday, she was walking to the shop on cliff street  when she noticed something off about the Emporium. For once, the halloween decorations were up. Without thinking she stepped inside.

Everywhere Luna looked was made of wonders and more reasons to ponder what lurked around the world. She saw a cage of pandas sitting happily with a stick of bamboo in their hands. A miniature version of the Emporium that had tiny doors painted purple inside. An eight shaped lamp that can light up sat on a round glass table. On one counter sat a wooden bowl full of amethyst glistened in the first  light that had gone inside the Emporium. There was a display of Wooden paddle dolls from Ancient Egypt. Coloured bamboo umbrellas swaying in the breeze hanging from a wooden beam and joining two planks together making the roof seem as though it changes colour. To one side on a hidden shelf lay some jewellery waiting to be stolen – they were worth lots of money. Pure white arctic foxes played happily as their fur swayed in the gentle breeze. But what interested Luna most of all was the ancient tatted leather bound book. The writing seemed to beam alive and the letters swarmed like an angry hive of bees forming pictures in her mind.

‘’I see you found my book of wonders,’’ whispered a voice angrily.

Luna froze. She slammed the book shut and slowly looked up at the owner. She was an old woman who had wrinkles covering her forehead and her thunder eyes shimmered like lightning. On her shoulder sat a rainbow parrot that shook its head disapprovingly.

What I would take if I were summoned to create a treasure

If i were summoned to create a treasure i would take:

The sound of

A child giggling,

A high-pich scream,

And the siren of a house being robbed.

The touch of

The solid rain hitting my arm at the speed of light,

The rocks tumbling under my feet,

And the melting sun shine on me.

The smell of

The salty navy blue sea that shimmers in the light,

Melted chocolate dribble down the chocolate cake,

And fresh flowers sway in the wind.

The taste of

My favorite fruits,

The popcorn crumble in my mouth,

The chocolate cake about to enter my mouth.

The sight of

The sunset across the valley,

The cutest puppy sweeps against my legs,

And my baby cousin play happily.

The amazing door’s

Go and open the lilac door,

maybe there is a field of lavender swaying in the wind,

a pile of amethyst waiting to be mined,

a lilac crayon that was snapped while being used.

Go and open the arctic door,

maybe you will see a field of bluebells and iris dancing in the wind,

an eye fidgeting,

the sky watching as you pass by.

Go and open the bumblebee door,

maybe you will see a crown twinkle on the kings head,

a sun rise across the horizon,

a ripe pineapple.

Go and open the flint door,

maybe you will see a shadow creep across the walls,

a jet-black cloud,

or a panther lurk amongst the shadows.

Go and open the sandstone door,

maybe you will see a pumpkin being carved,

a  sunstone lying on the ground as lonely as a cloud,

or a viceroy fly across the room.

Kind-cube

The lit candle is

as hot as a burning campfire,

like a stick of wax standing tall.

Flicker of light.

The sun is

as hot as mars,

like a giant ball of fire.

Ball of warmth.

The crystal is

as shiny as the twinkling stars that sleeps up ahead,

like the sun that burns.

Shiny dots fill the room.

The fresh glossy paint is

as shiny as glitter,

like a polished shoe.

Glisten of light.

A box is

as exiting as a new adventure,

like a celebration of kindness.

Kind-cube.

Twinkled sleepily

Sienna wood had never really wanted to leave her home. As she sat lonely on her bed, she thought about life before the war.She stared out of her bedroom window she could see for miles.Instead of a terrible gloomy view like at her old home, it was a dry and beautiful sight.Sienna was living in the spare guest bedroom. She had a big room that was decorated like her dream room. She still wasn’t  very happy whenever someone would try to talk about the war to her. She would start to cry a little because her dad had to fight there. She definitely couldn’t imagine what terrible things were happening to him.

School wasn’t so bad for her. She had lots of friends and she found out that she could actually spell and write.English was the easiest lesson for her because she could get the hang of it but when it came to math she couldn’t understand a thing. They had to carry a gas mask to school incase of an emergency. Her new home was a living room as you first enter, then you have a kitchen and 2 bedrooms upstairs that’s not including Miss Hall’s daughter Amelia’s room.Amelia and Sienna are close friends that share lots of hobbies and likes. Miss Grace was very loving and cared for Sienna as if she was her own. They had some pets. There was  a puppy, chickens and a guinea pig.

Every night Sienna would sneak into Amelia’s room and they would watch Miss Grace sneak out when the stars started sparkling and twinkling in the sky. As she suck out of the house she’d lock the door behind her to keep the two girls safe.Miss Grace would light up the lantern then headed over to sunflower field. That’s where she always headed. Once she got there she had laid out some sort of food but that’s all the girls could really see. After that Miss Grace would head back home to check on Sienna and Amelia.Outside the stars twinkled sleepily as the moon shone onto the ground lazily.Inside the smell of a burning fire filled the house and kept  it warm.

They did not have to wait that long to figure out what Miss Grace was hiding. One warm Friday night  Miss Grace came into Amelia and Sienna’s room telling them to follow her, this was when the stars fill the sky.She lit a lantern then they walked for 2 minutes before getting to Sunflower field.’’Don’t go any further without me by your side or else,’’ Warns Miss Grace ‘’What would happen if we did?’’ asked Sienna.

‘’Well you wouldn’t want to know,’’ Miss Grace replied. Miss Grace whistled a quiet but long whistle when all of a sudden a tiger jumped out of a cave from a not so far valley. The two girls clung onto each other and froze, like spooked statues.

Sienna and Lilly

Chapter 2

Lilly stared at the girls playfully, her deep orange and black fur swayed  in the breeze. Her eyes were a sunset yellow that reminded them of the burning-ball that floats in the sky.Her claws were at least 6 centimeters long. Miss Grace told the girls that she doesn’t like to use them unless killing her prey. Her whiskers poke the air they’re as thin as wire. Her ears rise as she listens to some music in the distance. Their smiles spread across their faces excitedly,Lilly opened her mouth knowing that she’s going to get some food. Her life-killing teeth were shown, they were as smooth as a book’s front cover.Lilly pounced forward in excitement. Her rosy red tongue came out as rough as sandpaper, and licked Sienna’s hand. A wave of care floats into Sienna. Now she feels safe.

‘’She seems to like you Sienna’’Miss Grace told Her,stroking her jagged back. The girls could not but smile. They were speechless in a good way. They started to walk along the old path that slept happy. The moon shone down onto the the long, narrow, old path hopelessly. As they were a couple steps ahead of where they were Amelia and Sienna both felt a shiver that went across their spines the kind  you get when you feel someone or somethings watching you. They turned round checking  all directions making sure no one was following. That’s when they think they saw Lilly’s sunset yellow eyes staring right through them.

‘’She’ll be watching’’Miss Grace told them without looking back ‘’she is protective over people that she likes,’’ she says again.

‘’I found her lost among a pile of leafs lost, scared and lonely. No food helpless.I decided to bring her in and care for her after all it isn’t healthy for a tiger to do that.’’ Miss Grace explains, the girls lessened carefully ‘’This is our secret girls, don’t tell anyone. I can’t imagine what they would do to her.Do you promise not to tell?’’Miss Grace whispers. Sienna and Amelia both nodded their heads in agreement.

That night Sienna dreamed about Lilly and how close they could get.she couldn’t stop thinking about when Lilly licked her hand, she had shuddered. Her southing low growl made her feel safe and cared for. It spoke to her soul. The next night Sienna and Amelia brought scraps of last night tea.She learnt how to set traps it was simple all you needed was a stick, box and bait it was a mix between rabbit trap and mousetrap.Once she had caught something in her trap she would take it to Lilly to eat.Lilly would carefully take it out of Sienna or Amelia’s hand. She would then hide in the bushes eating the food calmly. Giving a low, soothing raw.Lilly did hunt herself.Catching rabbits, mice, or for a big treat she would catch the biggest deer in sight. She was shy a bit but Sienna and Amelia would talk in a soft soothing voice.

One night Sienna went to visit Lilly by herself. That night Lilly let Sienna stroke her bumpy back that had silky soft fur covering her spine. Within weeks Lilly would search Sienna’s pockets for the scraps of food, always making a low soothing raw.Lilly changed since she met Sienna. She never gets lonely and she’s now happier and doesn’t get aggressive any more.Miss Grace could hear Lily raw softly in delight.

Over the past weeks Miss Grace could see that Sienna has changed the tiger and soothed her,Lilly has been happier because of Sienna Miss Grace thought.

Falling feather

In the room of books,

ancient, ripped and stained books fly across the room.

In the room of butterflies,

Red Admirals landed on me as carefully as a falling feather.

In the room of storms,

silent thunder makes the ground laugh so hard it shakes.

In the room of nature,

the stream flows like hot caramel.

In the room of sweets,

the mints sweep away the melted chocolate, sweetening the fizzy gummies sourness along the way.

Finally,I wandered into the room of boats,

until my legs were made of liquid.
