The hideaway Bat

Dear London Zoo,

I am writing to inform you that we have found several different animals over this last trip to the Amazon Rainforest. But the thing that has intrigued me the most is the Hideaway Bat (which is only 57.9cm). The Bat has many different features: its hands are petite, like the size of an ant , but don’t be fooled; their tiny hands have killer claws that leave pain and agony; also their beady eyes are killers, they can see in 3D behind corners and around things; the downside to these bugs is that the cannot hear you so its easier to get your hands on them.

Please write back to me as soon as possible, then we can see if you want to have them in your zoo. Obviously we will charge as it is brand new and will be popular. But we will discuss this when you next write to me.

Yours sincerely

Dear the Natural History Museum,

I am writing to you today to inform you that we have found a specific bug (  that would look good in your bird collection) no one has ever witnessed this Hideaway bug  before. It’s a brand new Bat which has features we have never experienced before: killer claws like a sloth’s one scratch and you will need immediate medical attention, (such as stitches or even to be cut off); eyes which can see through bright lights and see round corners; They have retractable fangs which is in use when it feels threatened.  I also believe this will become a very popular animal, so I do think  you will regret it if you don’t look into this. When you next write to me, which I need immediately! We will discuss the charges next time you write.

Yours sincerely

The unknown

After several seconds of tense waiting, a sound was finally heard, but no angry, hair-raising or spine chilling sound. The sound of a single hummingbird’s joyful song. Invitingly, ahead was a small wooden hut maybe 15 years old. The hut had wooden hanging boards falling down, and moss covering it like a cosy warm blanket. Emma sprinted towards the crooked, broken door. Twisting the knob on the door faster than she ever had before. As she walked in she called out “Hello”. But no answer responded back, just silence.

As Emma looked round something peculiar caught her eyes. A large box labelled toys was in view, the box was warm and faded, it seemed as if it had been sitting a long time. She slowly unboxed everything: a few old fashioned barbie dolls; yoyos with gigantic  knots in them; rotten footballs from 1984; but most importantly a rubix cube. Her mind couldn’t process these toys. Then a rhythmic beat started. A vicious, worrying beat. Then a scratching noise began like a mega sword fight in an arena. Emma gulped as she gripped the door handle as tight as she could.Something was getting closer and closer. Then she saw it, two beady eyes staring, gawping at her. Violently, she kicked the broken door down and ran. The beating of the thing continued as Emma ran. Reluctantly, something caught up. She soon reached the door and twisted the knob, but the door was locked. There was a lost soft speaking voice calling, come back…

I’ve been swallowed by a whale!

Dear Mum,

I highly doubt that you will receive this letter, because I have been eaten by a whale. It seems very unreal and very boring here waiting for an opportunity to escape. But it all started when I was on a blow up boat at the sea with Emilie then, somehow a whale was just floating around in  Britain on the Norfolk coast. The waves soon became choppy and uneasy and then we fell! We didn’t even realise this happened until now. I am hoping we don’t come out of the waste and we just come out of the blowhole. We hope we survive!

Love from Izzy.

There’s a dragon in Forest Academy!

Breaking News!

There’s a dragon in Forest Academy! Forest Academy is a primary school in a little town called Brandon in Suffolk. It was located at the back of the school lunch hall. Some children have described the dragon to be purple, with horns sprouting all over its body. The head-teacher is encouraging the students to stay away from the monster as they stay in a lock-down. The school has called animal control but they have said the wait can be up to 2 hours. So the children will not be home on time.

That’s all from me goodbye.

Your next news update is at 3 ocklock.

A problem with the tooth fairy.

Dear Tooth Fairy,

I hope you are well. I am writing to inform you that giving me one pound is not enough money. I have brushed my teeth day and night for eleven years for that tooth.  Anyway with the cost of things going up, one pound does not  go very far. It distresses me that because of things going up instead of saving five pounds I am saving ten pounds of one simple thing.  Please next time I am  hoping to see at least £3 . I will dream of you next time I lose a tooth.

Yours sincerely

Izzy

A warning disobayed

Chapter 2
A warning disobayed

“Get them foul unclean hands off my book!”hissed Agatha.
Emma scoffed as a snarl drew across her face.” My hands are far from dirty!” exclaimed Emma in an angered way. “Uhh just don’t ever seek my book ever again , and if you do I will find you.”“You don’t know who my daddy isb ohh ye the co-owner of Gucci”!yelled Emma.

As a cheeky grin drew across Emma’s face she had a plan . considering that the old hag was so rude to her she thought he had the right to. Because this place was so curious and weird she had to make sure nobody was watching, she checked in the evil mirror, she checked in the windows but most importantly in all of the posters making sure there were no eyes watching her.

A few moments later, Emma gets what the old hag described as, her foul unclean hands on the book , grasping the pages one by one scanning the peculiar book reading everything inside. Drawings of countries such as Africa, Asia, China, Australia and several more; she turned the page again to find animals big and small, from elephants with their enormous trunks, to a tiny mouse stealing a block of cheese to feed itself for one week. This all blew Emma’s mind. She started scribbling down uncontrollably the newest, most spectacular handbag worth 30,000 pounds.

Shortly after, a small magpie dragged Emma by the hair, this confused her, as well as it hurt. The bird dragged her past a thousand doors each unique : a red door full of poppies: a green door smelling of grass: a blue door smelling of candyfloss. Until she realised the door she twisted the knob to find…

The Forbidden Emporium

The Forbidden Emporium

In some people far far away, there is a particulary mysterious building that nobody can visit. It was known as the forbidden emporium.

Even though the extrodinary doors were unique and wonderful, even though the ancient windows had a glimpse of magic, even though the house was covered in roses, nobody ever dared to enter, a house of wonder and joy exept one person but no ordinary person a young girl called Emma…

Chapter  One Through the door

One cold winters afternoon, a young girl called Emma was lost. She was coming home from a fashion  garla , her dad would  give her everything she wanted, whenever she needed anything .But on this cold afternoon she was lost, until a bright light was shining in the distance which led her the way.

Emma began to come across a very strange building down Clemintine road. Soon after, it started raining. This forced Emma to reluctently pop into the shop. As she walked in, her eyes widened as the room was so fascinating and wonderous . She looked up to find a massive colony of sea gulls, flying around the roof. In the corner there was a cage that had a trapped rainbow inside. Ajacent to it was a book case what caught Emma’s eye , it made up a picture but one book was out of place. As Emma reached out for the book an old lady grabbed her. But it felt like a soft tissue brushing your shoulder. ” I see you found my book “exlaimed the old hag.                                                                                                                                                                               ” Sorry umm umm I’m sorry I didn’t mean to”cried Emma.                                                                                       The owner shook her head in disaproval as she realised behind her stood thousands of eyes giving her a frightful look.

long lasting treasures

Long Lasting Treasures

If I was summoned

to craft a treasure,

 I would take:

the sound of a snake slowly slithering past,

the pain and agony a box- jellyfish creates,

and the joy of a young lamb being born in spring,

a local regular walk around Abbey Gardens,

the roars of Portman Road on matchday,

and a forever away holiday or at least it seems,

the sorrow cries of hungry babies,

or the unpleasant rudeness of children,

and the abuse that you get off manners,

the threatening trouble of the spindle,

And one ***** of the finger,

or the true loves kiss the very next day,

A spell of magic creating what you though

was an impossible dream,

Or an elf with an important job to take care of,

The forgotten tales of the coliseum,

or a mounting completely  straight upright,

and a preposterous cold patch in the desert.

The doors

Go and open the vermillion door,

Maybe there is a ripe,

Fresh and delicious peach,

Or the sadness of finding your great grans old scarf,

And the memories it brings.

Go and open the baby blue door,

Maybe you will find the joy

Of robins eggs,

Or maybe you will find sorrow

with a tear running down your face.

Go and open the albino door,

Maybe you will find and untroubled

snowy morning,

Or being down-hearted realising there is only

A few albino giraffes left.

Go and open the papaya door,

maybe  you will find the thrills

Of a race car,

Or the wonders  a parrot,

beautiful and delicate.

Go and open the scarlet door,

maybe you will find the fantasy of owning

a ruby is real,

Or the misery of falling over

And losing blood.

Go and open the obsidian door,

maybe you will find a witches dungeon,

or distress of having a horrible,

Awful feeling in your mind.

Go and open the basil door,

Maybe you will find the greed

And jealousy of emeralds,

Or the mildew on the fresh grass.

Go and open the violet door,

maybe you will find smell

Of calming sweet lavender

Or the sour stench of

raw red onions.
