”Beyond me, a high school drop out and a orphan. Where do I begin?” they say, Carol stumbling.

Chapter 3

A tricky task

Days later, we are still angry at each other.

I’m angry at Caroline never saying she had no parents.

She’s mad at me for not being educated.

Finally, Carol….. SPEAKS TO ME!?

I’m planning to sleep, drink, relax, have fun. But, as usual, Carol has other plans. She pulls out a book. I realise what it is.

”You know what it is?”

”A… A… A… book?” I say.

”No, you idiot!” She replies.

”It is from the Eerie book dispensary.”

I think of where I’ve heard it before, and My missing page!

My pages say stuff like ‘Weakness’ and ‘Elementmander’.
Caroline opens the book. As I expected, it fits perfectly.

Before we can read, my door knocks and a letter pushes through the bottom of it.

Carol insists we should read, but I deny. Opening the letter, it says

”Who’s that?” Carol asks.

”Nevermind,” I say, running.

I grab my coat, and we run.

Entering the cave, it isn’t a person, but an animal.

A figure similar to one we’ve seen before peers out from the side.

As soon as it notices we’ve seen it, it steps back.

Something hisses.

3 pieces of hair are on the floor.

”we shouldn’t be here.” I say, but it’s too late. The hisses are behind us, we feel it.

Elementmanders on Shore! (2)

Chapter 2

We look, and stare at each other. “What glared at you, yesterday?”

Outside, a hurricane begins to form. I know what she’s going to say. She reaches a claim to have seen the Elementamander.

Just an hour later, Carol is still looking for it again. I want to go home. And search after the hurricane ends. Carol says “Do you know my name?” She asks.

”My name is Carol, but please, call me Caroline. I’m from Eerie on sea. I’m used to these monsters” she says.

Gasping, she spots something glimmer at the other end of the pier.

We run, passing Mammoth’s ice cream, Prav’s Fish n’ Chips and Bran’s Superstore. The blockades pummel and pull from the doors, to stop anyone from stepping inside. No cars are on the road, Bridges lifted from inhaling link smelling lifeguards, and wind.

Caroline says “LOOK!” and, without hesitation, I know what it is. It is the egg like remains of a monster’s prey. Something SCREEEAMS before we can peer at it more.

Caroline tugs me into the hospital for first aid. It feels BAD. We have broken in. Dark figures of children stand under sheets.

Someone appears behind us, The children’s figures fade away. Are we imagining things? They say “beyond me a school drop out, and an orphan. Where do I begin?”

CATAMANDER

Catamander

Prologue

You have probably been to Blackpool beach. In the summer, you probably tried the doughnuts. They are so amazing and you probably went in to the chilly light blue sea. You probably went into the golden powdery sand. When you came to this beach you probably have been eating ice cream and more stuff like that. Would you like to go or not?

But in winter, you probably went outside to test the weather and it is too frosty so you go inside and put the fire on and get cosy with a scorching hot chocolate. Do you want to go outside or not?

Chapter 1

My name is Lucy and I work as a cleaner and my friends also say it’s too boring. I say it’s not because I like it because I like helping others. I’ll tell you some of the things I do as a cleaner so let’s get started. I polish tables and polish fire places and more.

A girl taps on the glass window and hissed.  I was wondering who this was and whether I should I let them in or not. I was very petrified because it was very late at night. I heard the words again. I had my daughter sleeping up stairs so I wasn’t sure if I should let her in. I opened the window and she said “Please let me in!” in a desperate voice.

Before I continue with what happens next, there is one story about our Town that I should tell you. It happened not long ago and it was very strange. It was seen emerging out of the water. Apparently it looked creepy and also terrifying.

Chapter 2

We sat  waiting patiently for ages before I ask,”  What did you see?”Outside, I can hear the heavy wind picking up, it was  late at night to the point you couldn’t see anything outside. Even before she answers, I already had  an idea of what she is going to say. “Im  right. She claims to have seen the Catamander .

1h later, we was outside in the darkness , retracting Lucy’s footsteps. I thought to my self I’ve should of  stayed were  I was.  I were at home then I would be going bed but no I’m not because I’ve met this sassy girl I can not deal with her anymore  I feel like I can’t do anything with my daughter with her stuck here. The sea next to my house has a huge wave and the wind is so rapidly.

Chapter 2

Swailamander!

Prologue!

You’ve probably been to Wonder-On-Sea. In summer, you probably
went to the beach and dove into the sea. When you came you probably went to your Grandma’s house and waited for the ice cream van. It’s Summer…..

But in winter, you probably felt the freezing cold snow blow into your face. You should try going there when the sea fog covers the town. However, few people visit then. Even locals don’t go near the beach….. It’s winter……

Chapter 1

My name is Sasha Brown and I work in the local cafe. Most people call me Sash. I am the cafe’s manager though it doesn’t feel like it. I make the drinks, sweep the dirty floors and even tidy up after everyone. Someone once told me that this is a terrible job but I thinks it’s good. I have a tiny little office to do my important stuff. It’s not so busy in the winter as everyone gets really cold.

A woman banged on the door, Screaming “LET ME IN NOW”. Not sure why she screamed, I ignored her. She looked cold however the cafe closed 30 mins ago so I wasnt going to let her in. She seemed desperate. She started panting. Immediately, she says “Hide me!” .

Before I continue with that let me tell you a story of a old legend about our town. It happened ages ago. So 100 years ago a man by the name of Sam Shepard saw a monster some sort of mander they called it the SWAILMANDER it rips humans to pieces. It only comes out on stormy and wet nights. First it destroys the beach and then local shops then houses! Apparently there is a variety of monsters some tall some small but this one was an SWAILMANDER it smelled like rotten cheese mixed with ***** 💨. It left a trail of footprints that were bigger than some houses. When the locals heard the noise they would lock there door and close the curtains.

Some say that the creature must have been In pain because it wouldn’t stop howling. Some say it ate 25 lost children who had wandered ashore and not been able to run. I’ve never heard it though. Anyway back to the story! I let her in but only on one condition, she could not mention it to anyone.

Chapter 2

We sit waiting quietly for a moment or two. I asked her “What exactly did you see”. She answered saying “ THE SWAILAMANDER”. I couldn’t believe her. I wanted to see it myself so I walked outside and tried to see however it was to cold, I soon started following her footsteps. Distant thunder started rumbling and lightning crackled over sea it scared me.

We passed the shop named Tala and Ben and one named Harvey’s ice cream parlour. They were both boarded up. You also only see a few cars scurry by to get home.

I turned then we saw it the Swailmander it footprints bigger than houses it had webbed feet and it teeth so big it could swallow 5 people whole. Hardly daring to breathe, I tug open a arcade door and slip inside. At that moment the wind blew so hard it pushed me over and the door slammed so loud. The swailmander made a low growl I thought it was heading towards me but no. I peeked outside. The Swailmander stood still it turned looked at me with its yellow greedy eyes, then with a growl it dove back into the ocean.

 

Amazing on sea

You’ve probably heard of amazing-on-sea, it has one of the best beaches in the world. In summer, you have probably made sandcastle you might even have been to the pier to get some donuts . You might have collected sea shells or sat in a nice chair. In the summer it’s nice and sunny. You might never see the wolfmander! On the pier in summer you can get fish and chips, donuts, ice cream and sweets. In summer you can play in the arcades and win prizes!

But in winter, it’s very cold the wolfmander will not come during winter it’ll be in the forest. In winter you have probably not come to the beach because it’s too cold. If you have been on the beach in winter you might has made a snow castle. If you come on winter, you will have to wear hat ,scarf and gloves. In winter on the pier you might get fish and chips, hot drinks and dounuts. In winter the arcade is closed because it’s too cold.

Chapter one-Angel on sea

Hello, my name is Charlotte shells, I run a small business on the angel on sea beach. My shop is called Charlotte’s seashell shop. In my shop I sell different types of seashells, like round ones, shiny ones, ones that twist, and many more! Life is simple on angel on sea. However, someone once told me that I should make my business national, or even worldwide, but I like my small business.

Joyi on the sea

Before I introduce myself I am going to warn you about the dragonmander!!! It came ten years ago some people say he is still there some say he is gone I think he is still there. The next morning, a girl came and whispered “ He is there,” I didn’t know what she’s talking about then she said“ Open the door I will tell you about it,” I wondered if she was talking about the dragonmader then I said “ Is it the dragonmader,” She said “ Yes it’s behind me hurry up,” she looked serious I let her in then she said “ Thank you,” I said “ is it really there,” she said “ Yes it is,” Then in my mind I was dancing because I was correct but in my heart I was frightened I didn’t know if she is lying what should I do if she isn’t…

Merrie on sea

Hello, I’m called Kylie Melon, most people call me Melony, well you know because of the fruit Melons, that’s why people make fun of me for my name. It sometimes can be really hurtful, but it doesn’t really matter to me. Anyway, last night there was  three rumours: the 1st one was, there was a streetmander, and apparently a little boy went out at midnight, and unfortunately got taken away from the horrific thing. The next rumour was, there was a power-outage last week, and the streetmander caused it, that one I don’t really believe but who knows. The last rumour was, that a school had to go in lockdown, because of the monster lurking in the cellar. Anyway that’s why I haven’t went outside for at least.. 5 weeks.

The Chickenmander

You have probably been to Cheerie on sea and tasted the delicious ice cream on the beach but you have 100% not been to Eerie on sea trust me don’t go there. Some people call her the Eerie monster but her real name is the Chickenmander. No one comes here in the Winter just because of her. No one has ever seen her so it could be a myth.

Ice cream on sea

You may have come across Ice cream-on-sea once in you lifetime. In summer,  you have probably splashed about in the water, soaked your feet in nice warm sand and watched the beautiful sunset from your en – suite hotel. It is so  good of a place also a funfair meters away from the hotel.
