3 season haikus poem

Flowers dry out,

ice melts in the burning sun

nature overheats.

Eager fireworks launch,

marshmallows burn furiously,

spices fill the air.

glistening frost melts,

smells of Christmas around,

fires warm my cold bones.

  1. This is a great poem and hard to identify the first two parts, which adds more to the poem.

  2. Wow! You have used show not tell and you have used 5,7,5 but there are 4 seasons in a year.

  3. This is an amazing haiku and I love the ideas.

How do you come up with such great ideas?

Maybe next time you could use the 5 7 5.

  4. Very good.
I really like the choice of words.
Does the frost melt or would it actually just sit there?
