Snowy peered out as she pressed her forepaws against the massive flight-deck window. The heavy metal airship was gaining on them as it followed. The propellers purred and and the knife sharp hull sent a shiver of terror through her clockwork innards as it cut through the air.

The polar bear tried to tear her eyes away and stared at her mistress. Dragonfly, Mia’s ship had nothing in the way of firepower, though she was fast. By contrast, the heavy metal airship was bristled with weapons. Something slashed across the sky and thudded into the Dragonfly’s hull, it was a harpoon. Another harpoon pierced the stern. THUD!

Snowy let out a growl of alarm as burning gas filled the air. They got pulled in by the heavy metal airship. Mia locked Dragonfly’s autopilot, throwing open the door of the escape pod she ordered “Go Snowy!” Placing a pouch around the neck of her friend she said, “Head for Bracken bridge give this to Ruby and tell her I love her.”
