The sky ship adventure
Oliver’s hands were sweating, he could hardly grip onto the sail ropes. Billy was nervous – he didn’t know what to do. His blood was rushing through his veins . They both gulped. Thunder raged in the midnight sky and the wind whizzed past them faster than a speed train . The brothers left the town a month ago and should have been flying over vast oceans, but this heavy weathered storm had blown them off course.
At that minute, the griffins struck . Billy saw three of them appear in and out, under and over the gloomy clouds . Captain John miles tugged the boat to the left to try to escape the grizzly griffins .
As they swerved , the griffins flew quickly to another direction and started damaging the sails and tearing up the floor boards. For a moment, the sky griffins vanished as the captain steered the sky ship into a enormous fog storm. Thunder growled around them and electricity sizzled. Oliver glazed at Billy who was glancing at the binoculars “I can’t see anything.” Billy said. The grey clouds blocked his way. “Hold tight !” “Get ready to land everyone!” Yelled Captain John Miles though his megaphone.
A second later ,the Rival Rider tumbled below the clouds as air came rushing out of the balloon and the engines settled . They floated down , violently from side to side by the vicious storm. Billy and Oliver stared up , exploring for the sky griffins. Had they managed to evade them?
