Sky ship adventure part 4
Alone in the darkness, Ben clung to his pillow, his cold white fists clamped tight to the thin sheets. All night Dotty was trying to make Ben feel better, by feeding snow paws chopped up pears with a stinky cabbage muck. Ben was just wishing that he was asleep, though he did start laughing when Snow paws spat the stench-of-a-cabbage out that narrowly missed the kitchen cabinet, and hit Dotty right in the eye.
There was a blizzard barging onto the top deck, though Dotty was worried about the little shivering Snow paws that she had wrapped up in a blanket so he didn’t get too cold. Ben was being a bit more serious, and was wondering about the hole in the roof that a pile of snow was already forming under. The snow storm was a bit like a giant snow all breaking on top of them.
By now, Dotty was falling asleep, but, at that moment, a noise woke her up, what could it of been? Ben had heard it too. Dotty searched all the rooms of the ship, but when she appeared again, Ben was holding a torch (by the way, the torch didn’t work, he had dropped it when he had heard the noise in the room) and staring at a spot on the floor. There was a black silhouette, Now Dotty was starting to get worried, the small figure revealed two heads, two bodies? Or………..
Dotty gazed blindly into the darkness, Snow paws was clinging onto something, something the size of a squirrel, well, Dotty got closer and found herself stroking one. Her hand slipped from head to head, giving Snow paws and the squirrel a loving pat. Though Dotty knew that is was definitely not a squirrel, instead, it was her toy from her bag that snow paws had stolen. As soon as Dotty finished explaining that Snow paws was just getting ready for Halloween, she bent down to pick the rabbit up, when she realised his ears were still glowing blue! Dotty gave Snow paws a head scratch, and he nuzzled up to her chin, as if he knew something. Ben knew that there was no way to break the bond that Dotty and Snow paws shared, but he also knew that there was no way that Dotty would ever notice the strange blue ears that hung down near the rabbits purple teardrop eyes.
