Should dragons be allowed to reside in our village by Eva SJC6
We (the residents of the village and dragonologists) have been discussing whether or not dragons should be allowed to live in our village. This is a hot topic because some angel and shadow dragons have applied to live in the village and people have been fighting about it for months.
The majority of the residents say that we shouldn’t let the dragon live here because angel dragons can light up at night and shadow dragons make dark shadows in the day. Although these dragons don’t need to eat meat, they mostly feed on cows and sheep. Additionally, people believe that shadow and angel dragons steal shiny metal or gems and hide them in caves. Polititions have agreed that these creatures are a huge threat to our peaceful village.
Alternatively, some people think that they would still be safe if dragons were living in our village. Dragonologists have assured the residents of the village that angel dragons can control when they glow, and shadow dragons can control their shadows. Angel dragons can collect their fallen feathers and create small, rotund lights that can be hung up in houses. It is incorrect to suggest that the dragons could cause destruction, because they can only make shadow and light. Angel dragons can heal injuries and shadow dragons can help people sleep.
In the end, I believe that we should try to accommodate the dragons but stay cautious around them. If they are too dangerous they can be trained and if training doesn’t help them, they will be banned from entering the village.
