The Arachxcius
The Arachxcius is a lethal, ancient insect, which is causing a lot of scientists around the world to **** their heads at their blank whiteboards. Recently, it was discovered that this insect lives in varying climates, however they are most commonly found in hot, tropical climates-such as the rainforests of Brazil. This insect has never been seen before and we can only see them now because a large eruption boiled all the soil in a rainforest, awakening these insects from their deep sleep-it is thought that there is a numerous amount of these insects living in rainforests all over the world, and we know that they are nothing like anything we have ever even seen before. Now that these insects are no longer in a coma what havoc will they reek upon us? Do you now live in fear of this insect because I think you should.
Venomous information
The arachxcius has two venom injectors that are a dusky orange on the end of its tail which can excrete or inject venom rapidly, so you must be careful. This venom is extremely potent and lethal in one sting it has enough venom to kill fifty grown men. Scientists are rapidly trying to replicate and come up with an antidote for this venom because apparently it would be very useful in warfare.
Radar hair
This insect also has antenna like hairs all over its body which are constantly posed to detect vibrations or sounds in the air and ground. Because of those thin, deceiving hairs-antennas- it is incredibly hard to sneak up on it without it knowing that you are there. This is strange because it doesn’t seem like this insect has any predators, so why would it need those hairs in the first place.
Let’s wing it
The arachxcius has four intricate, delicate wings that it uses to fly with and they are actually incredibly complex and can-like a gecko-change its colour to match its surroundings. They could be anywhere or everywhere.
Need a leg up?
This insect has eight, frail, jet-black legs with which it can move across the ground at unthinkable speeds. Because its eight legs are studded and have amazing movement co-ordination it can climb or move across any surface which is really frightening because that means that there is no wall to wide or too long or too high that can keep these insects at bay if they decide to attack.
Plates for free!
The arachxcius has armoured plates that cover its body making them the most protected things on Earth because the plates that cover their bodies are completely impenetrable and are the strongest substance on Earth. If this material can be replicated it would mean safety for all those brave men and women who fight in those wars for us.
That will be all for now.
