Chapter 1,Goodbye Family

Finally they were ready to leave home forever.

Their home was too weak to withstand a huge Gorm attack.They had gone upstairs to gather supplies.Speedy, who was a messenger robin, brought scary news that an army of 15 gorm was due to their position. The warren was as ancient as the earth itself,built by the ancient Wentiss rabbits who’s deeds pass into legend.

Their Auntie Cassandra told them that they should go down the secret tunnel and that if anything should happen to them they should go down the tunnel.”Oh and your father told me that once the time is right that I should give you this”.And at that she pressed a super-light bundle of cloth into Joshua’s hands.And on that day the three little rabbits, Joshua, Baby Alex and Anna went down the tunnel.

They climbed down the tunnel with sadness.Joshua shaking Anna crying half to death,and Baby Alex shivering.”d,do you think that,you know, the Gorm have-” Anna burst into rivers of tears.”no” said Joshua firmly, they are brave warriors if they have then they must have put up a good fight.”They trekked through the tunnel with grief.

Once they got out of the tunnel,the cold wind knived at their tear covered faces.They fought hard to get through the snowy wonderland of trees.As baby Alex got tired,Anna fell over and begged Joshua to stop and build a shelter.They did.They fell in the shelter and gobbled some food and dell asleep with dreams of Gorm torturing their friends and family.Joshua thought will they perish,or will they reach shelter… 

Chapter 2-Journey to Snowy Hill town

The sun had just begun to breathe life into the world when the little band of rabbits were awakened by a loud tap at the entrance to the makeshift shelter they had made before.It was speedy,the messenger robin.It had brought news of their parents.They had been killed in the taking of the warren.They plotted the route they would take to Snowy Hills Town.

When they were travelling they started to feel paranoid.The forest was eerily quiet and there was no birds twittering and there was no snow falling.Joshua kept thinking that every glint of snow was Gorm armour,and that at any moment an army of gorm would come crashing down on them and they would be gone forever to the Land Beyond.Suddenly,Speedy started hopping and that startled them from their zombie sleepwalk that they had adopted for a while.They were at their destination!

They had gone to Town because it was practical and their supplies were running low.They bought what they needed.when they were just leaving town when a gorm stepped out from behind aa cheese stall.”Oi you” and a warrior stepped from behind a Veg stall.”tut tut tut” attacking people is not nice and at that he sliced through the gorm in one hit.Would they ever be safe now?… 

Chapter 3-Double Trouble at Bluewater Lodge.

They ran.They ran and they ran away from Snowy hills.The gorm knew their location anyway so it didn’t matter what they did they would find them no matter what the cost.Their next destination was Bluewater Lodge.It was well known throughout the 5 realms.It was a paradise for hard working miner rabbits or worker rabbits who needed a break.They definitely needed a break.They journeyed and got there.They took up residence and prepared for blissful relaxation.

The next morning they had a heavenly meal that Joshua commented was better than the mulberry warren’s christmas puddings.They hadn’t had food for three days and ate like a pack of starved wolves.They went to a spa and felt so much better that Joshua thought that it was a dream.They went to a hot tub and made a friend who’s name was Alex.For lunch they had chopped tomatoes and sliced peaches and for the end they had a fantabulous nut cake slice.They took a nap but when they were awake were knocked unconscious.

They awoke and a familiar voice spoke that they were awake and they were prisoners for the gorm and he had sent a crow for them.They couldn’t possibly escape from here they would be the last sons of a chief or would they?…

Chapter 4 – Escape!

Moments later they were thrown into a rusty,iron cage.The air was putrid with death and mould.For food and drink they were given mouldy bread and stale water.They wished with all their might that they were home.Suddenly the ground shook as if a giant was having a tantrum.

The cage shook itself apart and a voice whispered to him “psst over here.” and Joshua zoomed over and ran out of the building with the stranger,to find a pegasus ready to fly them away.

The feeling of flying was unutterably good.The air whistled through his thick fur.”By my great uncle’s whiskers.They flew to Splinterolm and lived happily ever after,Or would they?…
