Chapter 4

James dreamed of his mother’s roast as the smell crept up into his nose. His mother’s voice singing a tune she would always sin woke him up. He woke with a yawn the sun barely went through the dim blinds. When he got up he accidentally stood on Jamie still not wakening her up from her sleeping bag. When he started walking the floor bored started creaking.

Vern yelled for them to wake up and come down so he came down Vern half a sleep as well got a wing up his smooth bronze head zipped up “Ay I know you like to wind me up but you got to save your pa” so James pulled out some fire crackers lit them and threw them into the room a couple minutes later Jamie came out with a black face she cleaned hey got dressed and left to save his father.

Sneaking as quietly as a mouse they made it to the base after going on a cobble road Vern went through the grass to the radio that the blue prints were in while James and Jamie got to a downed air ship when he saw the red robin Zeppelin in the flesh as power full as ever with the corneal of the army his dad worked at. Vern got the blue prints so James picked up a musket fired completely missed and hit multiple cars. So Jamie went to a canon on the downed air ship fire it was aimed far up crash into a bowling alley and got a strike. Vern ran with the blue print got caught then the corneal burned it not realizing the weapon wasn’t ready yet so they ran away a job well done.

When they got back to stews shop stew was deactivate and making a muffled groaning in a hatch when they opened it his dad was there.  Then Jamie tried to wind up stew again but it didn’t work

“Where am I?” he managed to let out his mouth when he saw James he continued, “James my boy how is you?” he said to James looking at the broken downed body of stew when he noticed him he said, “he ticked his last tock,” he said mournfully. He got up and brought James and Vern and told Jamie to go back to her house because her parents must be worried sick so he told James they were going to his mother’s old house in Somme with lust forest, crystal blue seas and precious wild life. And Jamie went home to her mansions with her mother.
