Walking Troon

Walking Troon

On Monday, I find the primary school St Patrick’s glistening

in the frosty sun and the children having fun

in the perfect playground.

On Tuesday, Troon pool was filled

with warm wonderful water. It was like the sun was the water.

On Wednesday, the brilliant beach with the

ice cold ice cream and the wild waves and super

surfers showing their skills like athletic acrobats.

On Thursday, the sulking seagulls are smelling for the feast.

When they do they are diving down directly as fast as a beat

towards that succulent sweet fish ‘n chips

On Friday, I played the best round of golf I’ve ever played.

I had a seventy two round Fullarton of the white tees.

On Saturday, I saw the wonderous  dolphins.

On Sunday, I found the Irn Bru and Haggis, slice and shortbread,

tattie scone and deep fried mars bar, Wallace

Monument and Kelpies, Burns Poems and golf ball,

Nessie and a Steven Browns Mccoo’s and a beach

 filled cool citizens in Troon.
