Survive the Octopusmander

PROLOGUE

You might have been to Joy-on-sea.Exploring the sealife, spending your money on treats, expecting the ice-cream van.Perhaps diving happily into the crystal clear sea.Unluckily, mistaking wonderful white vanilla ice creaming for yucky seagull **** landing on your treat. That’s the place you’d dream…in the summer.(At least part of it).

Not in winter though. The frosty wind seeping into your skin. You,returning home looking like a soaked mop because of the horrid rain pouring like a waterfall.Your house decorated by germy tissues and your legs trembling in the heavy, thick and icy snow.

CHAPTER 1

Hi!My name is Belle Willows but most people call me Bella.I am a babysitter.I take care of the babies in the childcare at the Nautilus Hotel. Some people say that my job is awesome because they pay me 100 pounds a week.I have a quite a large room room with my royal blue soft bed and a wooden, blue wardrobe neatly filled with my comfy clothes. So that’s me,so far I only have 10 babies.

After cleaning the nursery,I took a relaxing view through the window. It was raining and storming the beach. All of the sudden,BANG!BANG!A girl pops out in front of the window fiercely knockin.

“Let me in quick!please!”She gasped.

Her wrinkled, wet face showed fear.I couldn’t say no,so my hands rapidly opened the window and she hissed,

“Hide me…now,”

Before this story,I need to tell you another. It happened centuries ago,no evidence can be found.Tales say,the creature appears near the sea when it senses the one that hunts. Some say this type of mander is known as the “Octopus Mander”.It left the scent of the rotten seaweed, dead fish and the trail of 5 metres-long footprints.

Some say the monster was hunting someone special. Some say it wanted to destroy the world. Some say it was starving.I never knew about the stormy, unknown weather in the gloomy night where growls were heard.

“Why?Who are you?”I whispered,”What is it?”

“It’s near,I can’t feel it!”she replies.
