Dear Mam.
Dear Mam,
Thank you for the hot tart, it kept me right warm on the journey, as well as the blanket. The train was well cold and there were a lot of other people like me on the train. When I got out of the train, loads of people were standing outside waiting for people to come out. I spotted Aunt Mary and cousin Ivy quickly. On the way to their house Ivy was telling me about all the landmarks in Shepreth. We pulled into a street called Rowling street but it was nothing like Colony street.
The House was really big. Like HUGE. Aunt Ivy cooked me a reet nice meal. I can tell that she is your sister but nothing beats your cooking. The room is really big. Like bigger than our whole house, and that is just my room. I have my own bathroom. The day after they took me shopping and let me get clothes and shoes.
They have 2 cats. I have my own cat. I named it Willow. I wish you were here to see it. I have my own wardrobe for my clothes and I can walk inside of it!
The village is really nice. There are a lot of stalls and shops. I was well impressed with all of the shops. Don’t worry, I brought my gas mask just in case. Aunt Mary bought me a red ribbon to match my outfit and she put it in my hair, I looked right good.
The school is brilliant. The people there are so nice and welcoming. I have made so many friends and the food is so nice. I don’t like the teachers because when you talk they are mean and they shout at you right loud.
I wish you were here and I hope you are all okay and doing well, love you to the moon and back.
