Adventure 1

Finally they were ready to leave.

That sunny afternoon, a message had arrived at Wild Warren, to say that the Gorm were not far from their borders saying that everybody was in grave danger. The rabbits knew within a blink of an eye they were at extreme risk of potentially dying. The  formal Wild warrens were built ages ago, the walls were too dry to stand up, all the rabbits would not stand a chance to survive, they knew they had to escape.

And so it was that the three rabbits, Phoenix, Parker and Piper, set off from their  cosy warren. In order to get to safety it would take days. But first they would have had to travel through The Enchanted forest, then through Mountain Mania all the way to LeafyLand.

Even the mighty Gorm could not set foot to the Leafy Land bescuse if the Gorm touches any plant life then then the skin of the Gorm would melt and the movement for the Gorm would be almost impossible. But the three rabbits knew altogether as a team that they would need to go to the far depths of Leafy Land to be safe forever. The rabbits had been gifted a letter from their mum that included an ancient old map which had been passed through from many generations. The map allowed them to travel without using roads. They were soon going to get to safety.

Desperately clinging on to the ancient map, scared in case someone would see it. The troop of rabbits hastily made their way to safety, unfortunately there was a rope bridge in front of them. Phoenix’s biggest fear was a rope bridge. Although she was scared she had her siblings to hold her hand across the bridge and Phoenix was very proud and happy when she had completed her biggest fear.

The trio were trying to stay together but as Phoenix was so young it was difficult, but they just about managed to get to their destination. After feeling like 1 hour of being shoved and pushed, the rabbits suddenly found a sign that said BlackPonyInn. “We can stay here for the night,” said Phoenix.

That evening, the terrific trio started to settle down for a small meal, including roasted carrots, hazelnuts and some tiger bread they had been gifted by their mother. They ate with not a peep from each other in the room they had been given by the Black Pony Inn, wishing for no attention through a loud conversation. Phoenix yawned and snuggled into Parker’s tunic and was swiftly snoring gently. Parker  looked out of the window one last time before locking the doors, shutting the windows. Quite confident there was nobody watching them.

Parker discovered that sleep was not easy tonight. His might kept moving with deep thoughts and worries. Every time he shut his eyes ,he was picturing dark black creatures stomping their way towards him and his family. There is no doubt that the Gorm terrified him. Would they make it there alive?
