Chapter 3-

He approached the school door and opened it. He saw the teacher and sat down. From the window he saw the police running. The school was over. He walked back to the house. Suddenly, he heard a bomb hit the ground. He ran as fast as he could to the house. He saw the police looking up. He opened the door fast. “Mrs Smith!” He ran upstairs and Mrs Smith came out. “I heard bombs!” They both ran inside the wooden old house and climbed down the basement. The policeman saw them going inside the wooden house. He wondered what was inside. He remembered them going inside the wooden house searching for the gold. 

Jim was frightened. “What if someone saw us, there were a lot of policemen outside.”

“It’s going to be okay,” said Mrs Smith. They pulled the planks and locked them up in the basement.. Mrs Smith opened the chest and looked for something. “We might have caught Mrs Smith!” Said Jim. Suddenly the explosions stopped.  “What now?”Asked Jim.

“We wait,” said Mrs Smith.

Then they both heard someone opening the door and walking up to the hidden basement. The policeman looked down and saw light peeking through the wooden plank. He ripped the floorboard and furiously climbed down the ladder. He saw the chest and opened it. But then the policeman saw a door and burst in and ran to find them. Jim and Mrs Smith climbed up the secret exit.
