It was said that Leo might’ve gone missing in the forest to find the Last Jaguar, I heard it from others whilst going to school. Even if it wasn’t true, I still have to go find him to make sure that the Last Jaguar isn’t revealed to others. I might’ve not gone if it wasn’t to protect her. It was raining and I didn’t want to get wet, rain is nice and soothing but not when it’s chucking it down. I couldn’t stay home so I had to go. As I went out into the drenching rain, Miss Natalie called to me, “Where do you think you’re going?”
“I need to find Leo and the last jaguar before she’s revealed.”
“Please be careful and don’t come back making my house completely wet, thank-you,” said Miss Natalie politely.
The rain covered me whole and I was colder than ever before. Every inch of me was wet, my hair, my clothes, my shoes and my arms. Everything in my area was covered in rain and because of this, there wasn’t any school today. I’m glad that there wasn’t any school today.
As I went out into the pouring rain, I went to the neighbours house to see if they’ve seen Leo and where he’s gone. I knocked on the door quite loudly because the rain was making it hard to hear anything. The door opened up mysteriously and a voice around the age of 35 spoke,
“Hello? Who’s there?” asked the neighbour questionably.
“Umm, it’s the neighbour’s kid, Miss Natalie’s kid.”
“Come inside dear, it’s chucking it down!” said the neighbour as she hurriedly closed the door.
“Do you want to sit down?”
“Yes please” I said as she started to speak.
“So what are you doing here?”
“I’ve come to ask if you’ve seen Leo by any chance.”
“Maybe, if it was a young boy around the age of 9 and had blonde hair, he went into the forest the last time I saw him.”
“Thank you, that’s all I wanted to ask, I’ll be gone now. Have a good evening.”
“Thank you dear, you too!” said the neighbour happily.
I accelerated out of the neighbour’s house and went barging into the forest hurriedly. A million thoughts entered my brain and told me that he was definitely going to be here. Before I could take a step further, I thought to myself, what if he wasn’t there. What would I do then?
Now, all this has happened quite a long time ago. Leo was never found again, I still wonder where he is. I still go to the middle of the forest every day and night just to check if Leo’s still here somewhere. I’ve decided to call the last jaguar, Speed since she’s very speedy. To my surprise, Speed’s gone somewhere and I haven’t seen her since Leo went missing a few years ago. Maybe they’re both together somewhere taking care of each other happily. Although this all happened quite a while ago, Miss Natalie still takes care of me and I have some new friends, they’re really nice and they care about me. Chaos still occurs every now and then and fruits and vegetables grow in our garden, it’s the most magical thing that ever happens.
