Chapter 1

The Gorm’s attack struck!

As the Gorm’s attacked the Warren Rune,Raz and Rook were dragged harshly across the floor.’’Ow!’’ yelled Rook as tears ran down her face.’’Shh!’’ mumbled Auntie Owln.As they were dragged to the bedroom silence filled the room until they heard the terrifying screech of dad so Auntie did what she had to do and covered their ears.Rook had questions wrapped around her head. Raz looked as if he was about to cry. Rook rocked Raz and reassured everything was going to be okay.The Gorm’s laugh was so deafening and deep that everybody was afraid.Suddenly, out of nowhere Auntie started rummaging for something however Rook had no idea what it was so Rook being the nosy child mumbled ‘’Auntie?’’ but there was no reply.Rook was furious but she wasn’t going to let somebody ignore her!Auntie sighed. ‘’Ah Ha!’’ yelled Auntie…She gave us a ‘magical’ dagger and a letter ‘’What is this-’’ Rook began. Until, Auntie yelled ‘’Shh!’’

 Auntie shoved the protesting children out and into the tunnel before she heard the Gorm coming up the stairs from below. ‘’Auntie No!’’ Rook cried ‘’ I love you my children..’’ mumbled Auntie as tears ran down her face. Rune looked at his sister and hugged her as if he wasn’t going to let go.Rook had no words and thought of all their memories together.Rook let out a huge sob.Raz was worried for his siblings of course. Rook carried her brother and reassured him once again everything was okay. Raz fell asleep and she gave her a soft smile and kissed him on the cheek. They stopped to rest for a bit but not long after they began walking again Rune was playing with Raz.They thought as if they were walking a marathon and Rook held the map and directed them where to go all Rook could think of was all the ones that she loved that will remain in her heart no matter where they are.

‘’Are we almost there?’’ questioned Rune expecting an answer immediately.’’Nope nowhere close’’ babbled Rook. ‘’Great!’’ Rune yelled sarcastically. She ignored him but deep inside she was crying because knew her brother wasn’t this type of person normally.Rook was puzzled with questions wrapped around her head but wouldn’t tell her brother because it would put him off.They stopped and layed down but were they safe…?

Chapter 3 Are they safe?

Suddenly,they saw the Gorm behind them. Rook scooped up Raz. Raz Couldn’t help but to let out a massive squeal. Rune got cut on his wrist so they hid. Rook let out a huge sigh.They bandaged Rune’s bleeding arm and wiped away the excess blood. Rune let out a huge whail.’’Shh!’’ called out Rook.In a blink of an eye,Rook told her siblings to run.The gorm chased them like mice.’Why do you come for us!’ yelled Rune.’You’re the chieftains’ children.Within a split second more gorm’s appeared.’Wh- but how?’ questioned Rook. They looked like a nightmare! Something you don’t want to experience.Their masks were covered in nails… and blood.They didn’t look back.

They found a sweet cabin and entered it. ‘Erm hello, is anybody home?’ questioned Rune.There was no reply.Rook fell asleep.As she woke up moments later, she could feel some sort of air gusting in her face. It felt like ice-cold breath swishing in her face but there was nothing to be seen. Rook didn’t say anything to alarm her siblings.She just kept it to herself.She just had a terrified look on her face. They all fell asleep.But little did they know the Gorm’s aggressively grabbed them from behind. Were they safe…?

Chapter 3 Where are they going?

Suddenly, the little band of rabbits awoke.’’what’s going-’’ started Rook. ‘’Quiet you little rat!’’ hissed Scar.Then they just fell asleep. Rook woke up covered in sweat, she just told her-self it was a nightmare.She looked up to see Scar’s face and it looked very familiar… like somebody she knew.The cells were dusty and full of cobwebs however, the smell was even worse it smelt of smoke and it filled Rook’s frail lungs.

Rook and Rune looked at eachother and just knew they weren’t getting out.Rook calmed herself down. ‘’ Gorm?’’ whispered Rune. ‘’What do you little brats want now?’’ he rolled his eyes.’’ Erm food please sir’’asked Raz in his politest voice.’’NO! Now leave me alone!’’ screeched Scar as he fell asleep.When all hope was lost a Badger popped his head out of a hole. ‘’Hello sir Badger!’’ called out rune. ‘’ I’m a girl actually call me Lily’’ she replied politely.She cut them from their tiny frail cell and Lily let her do the honour of killing the cold blooded Gorm.He looked at her and screamed in pure agony.

They ran away with the magic dagger in hand and sliced any Gorm that tried to attack. ‘’ARGH!’’ called out one.’’OUCH!’’ called out another.Then they went back to scar and shut all the tunnels.Before shutting the last tunnel lid they said their last goodbyes.Tears ran down his face like a waterfall. They ran out. 

They escaped and were relieved. But where were they going?
