The ferocious beetle
The ferocious beetle is a big beetle that is beginning to become extinct. It’s very rare to see one because people have been catching them and taking them home to kill. The beetle is beautiful and has lovely scales. Scientists have dreamed of seeing this creature.
Appearance:
The ferocious beetle is equipped with glistening blue and purple scales that light up in the evening darkness. It has prickly sapphire ears to protect itself from predators. Shockingly, its legs are twice the length of the actual beetle! Its legs are sky blue with short stubby toes at the end. Beware! The beetle has a small but deadly sting. It has bulging eyes coming from its small pink head.
Habitat:
Although the bug can grow up to 25 cm, it likes to live in the trees (mostly the small thin ones). The ferocious beetle can easily and rapidly camouflage into the leaves and twigs on the tree. These creatures are mostly found on cold winter days. They don’t come out in the summer because that’s the time they are the weakest.
Behaviour:
The ferocious beetle behaves interestingly,it depends what mood it is in. It will buzz if it is irritated or angry. If you irritate the creature even more it will leave you with some nasty damage; such as stinging you or even biting you. The beetle’s bite is deadly and will leave you with a toxic rash and cut.
Diet:
The ferocious beetle loves to eat grass and fresh green leaves. This creature will drink any liquid it sees. If there are no trees in the beetle’s surroundings, it will eat food leftovers off the floor. Although the creature would much prefer leaves or grass.
