I was walking my pet dog on the beach when a ginormous sea animal came sliding out of the sea towards me. The animal was crying for help so I called for the fire service to come and cover it in water. We decided to keep covering the animal in water until the tide came in. When the tide finally came in it was midnight. We did not bother going home to go to sleep so we just slept on the beach for the night.
Dear diary,
This evening was probably the scariest evening of my life. I was sitting on the beach, relaxing on the beige sand when I thought I would go for a walk along the rock pools, to see if there were any little fish around. I took off my flip flops and stood on the first rock. No fish. I tried loads and loads of rock pools but there was no fish. I just wanted to catch at least one.
Nothing exciting was happening. My life at home has been so boring lately, I wanted to try something exciting. I walked a few more steps and discovered this cave. I ran towards the cave. I turned on my flashlight and there were hundreds of rocks about, maybe even thousands. This was starting to get exciting.
All of a sudden, I heard this hoot coming from outside. It was loud and low. Every time I heard it, shivers fell down my spine. I ran behind one of the rocks and hoped it wouldn’t find me. It was no use. It was still coming after me. Luckily (and I mean it was REALLY lucky) I managed to get out of the cave before it came in and I would have been stuck in the cave, with no escape.
I sprinted and sprinted until my legs started to hurt. The creature was probably 3 times the size of an owl. Also, it didn’t seem as friendly as an owl. It’s eyes were turning from blue to yellow. I’m guessing this creature was a male. I think that his eyes turn yellow when he is angry. I could hear him huffing and puffing from behind me. I could tell he wanted to kill me.
I could smell the rotten smell of pungent fish covering him from head to toe, you just couldn’t tell how much fish he has been eating over his short life. Suddenly, I heard this loud whistle and the bird/creature flew away. I collapsed onto the sand and sighed. I quickly realised that this could be the creature that everyone talks about. I thought it was a mythical creature and it didn’t exist. Was this the famous griffin people talk about? Was he really real?

I saw a rattle in the bush i was scared I did not know what to do.I had a closer look. Suddenly as quick as a flash a little animal shot out of the bush.I was terrified i ran away but it folowed me when a looked closer it was actually cute.so I took it back.
Dear diary, last night I saw something deadly.It all started at night when I usually take my cat for walks,we were going across the sand dunes when I heard a petrifying scream.Then I saw it. A giant came looming towards me. I called the police and they said “HA REALLY ARE YOU SERIOUS WELL THE ARMY ARE COMING.” “THANK’S” I said. The Army was here and said ” Oh there really is something here.” and they sorted it out, they took all of the magic out of the monster slowly so the monster was in pain and then My cat and I went home. PS they gave me £20 .for reporting the monster.
It was a few warm winter’s weeks ago that the most incredible moment of my life happened. It was a normal day, you know, the sea was rough and people were laughing and chatting on the beach, I was taking my cocker spaniel for a stroll and a good old run. The pebbles were wet and the sand was sloppy and mud-like, the normal winter-beach trip. It was frosty and the sand stuck together like glue, I was wearing a pretty mellow-yellow coat and a cosy black beanie, the air felt fresh and the wind was whipping my hair into my face. While Bailey (my cocker spaniel) was running and dashing around the sand dunes like a lunatic I trotted towards the beach cafe and fancied myself a warm hot chocolate with extra cream and marshmallows.Hey, you can never be too old for a good old hot chocolate.
It was getting late and the air was frosty and chilled, the evening moonlight was shimmering on the coast. The wind was whispering to the roaring ocean and as I got nearer to the beach cafe the scent of rotten fish and smoke filled my nostrils. Where was the smell coming from? I would have never known if Bailey didn’t bark. It was a low and deep growl that he gave and something slipped out of the sea. I only caught a glimpse but it looked like a mermaid with beetle black hair and alight red eyes. Her tail was glossy and shimmering but it was a deep purple, It fixed me with a glaring stare. I stood as still as a statue, it was the scariest moment of my life! Goosebumps prickled. Bailey stood by my side, fearless. The creature edged towards us. I braced myself and shut my eyes tight. As I opened them the creature was gone. A roar. A growl. A scream. The scream was mine. I could feel its sticky hands on my shoulders and hot breath on my neck. My hairs stood up in alert. As I turned around I was face to face with a dark face and glowing neon eyes. The creature stared into my soul and darkness swallowed me…
Diary Entry.
One evening I decided to take my friend’s dog out for a little walk along the beach. The name of the dog was Emmie. Emmie was a big german shepherd and she was very pretty. We decided to start heading towards Whitsand bay in the gloomy night.
We finally arrived at Whitsand bay and I let Emmie off the lead. She immediately started rummaging through bins and went for a swim. Moments later, she came running up to me, her tail between her legs. She hid behind me only for me to find why she was so scared.
A large, scaly creature arose from the dark water, growling and gurgling. Emmie eventually overcame her fear of the creature and snarled back. The monster seemed stunned and turned and went back to the water. Without looking behind me, me and Emmie ran home. Both of us were scared but my friend sat us both down and gave me a cup of hot chocolate and gave Emmie a treat and some water.
Last night was the most shocking and scary experience I have ever witnessed. I was going to the beach diner with my friends, Shelly and Harry, and while we were waiting for our food I decided to take a calming stroll on the docks and look at the boats. The sea looked beautiful, the sky was setting for its sleep and a jungle of reds and oranges filled the sky.
As I strolled along the docks, the sky began to crackle and the sea seemed less calming. It was rumbling and waves that used to be little bumps were now huge killers. They crashed and raged against the shoreline as I stepped back in horror. A mist had begun to form and I could barely see which way was forward. I was hopelessly lost.
I twisted and turned but I realised I was going round in circles. The foggy mist clouded around me and it was getting worse, my vision was becoming hopeless. As I began to give up hope, I saw a light. A red light. Taking a closer look, I slipped forward and I covered my mouth in shock. They were eyes. Red crimson eyes, glaring into mine like the demon sent from hell.
This creature had long flabby legs with scars as deep as the depths of the ocean. It had a dress with a rustic look, mud and splatters at the rim. But, it’s face. It had a deadly face. This monster had demon red eyes as red as the devil. It had a crooked smile that stretched to its eyes and a tiny speck of a nose. I had to stop myself from screaming.
I turned as fast as I could and ran with the wind. I ran and ran and ran until I reached the edge of the docks and stopped, I was back at the diner. I had seen a sea puppet. The legends were true. The Sea Puppet is real. The legend is true. And this creature is coming for me. It chose me and now I am doomed. I have a doomed death. But, if Sea Puppets are real, what else are?
Dear Diary,Yesterday morning, I was walking along the path with the daffodils covering my shoes just above the beach.I was on a family walk collecting shells and rocks for a project that me and my sister needed to do for school for our art lesson. We packed a hat as it was cold, thick coats and scarfs.
The waves started to crash on the shore. Our dog sky started to leap up and down so we walked onto the pier and looked over to see if there was actually anything. We walked slowly just in case it startled any of us! We walked to the end of the pier. It was a … But unfortunately I can’t tell you that yet!
It was just starting to become bright, the sun coming out from behind the clouds,and we saw the creature. It was weird so we left the beach and will return tomorrow morning!
The next day …
It was the next day. 9am Sunday 2 April 2022.We are back on the path above the beach walking through even bigger daffodils covering my knees this time! My sister became ill today. I think she had hay fever so she’s resting to be ready for her art project. I’ll help her out as she gave me a list of rocks and shells and sea glass she would like.I found shells with holes in them which is what my sister wanted,crystal types of rocks,which i wanted and some pink sea glass!I forgot about the creature. I’ll tell you more let me describe it to you …
It had a triangular face, a slimy, large body shape and claws rising up from above.I researched more about it and I found out it’s called a triangular lena fish.
I’m taking my shells,rocks and sea glass back to my sister and we will create our project and update it on you soon!
It’s now Sunday afternoon and my sister and I have created the project. It has sea glass in baby pink glued on the top of the 4 edges of the sheet and the rocks in the middle creating a crystal heart and shells around it for decoration!We will hand it into school tomorrow and we have got our family to rate it on a separate piece of paper and they all gave it 5 STARS!

Yestaday night I was walking my dog Luna on the beach there was this cave it was dark and full of mist I can’t remember much but I saw a creature Suddenly water spat out every where the creature spat out of the water never to be seen again .
